WHERE’S THE VICTIM?? TAEIL IS ACTUALLY THE VICTIM‼️ BECAUSE HE NEVER DID ANYTHING.. 😒 actually we don’t KNOW ANYTHING.. We don’t know if Taeil even did any of those things, or if anything criminal even happened. There was supposed to be an investigation but SM went and swept everything up under the rug and never updated the public at large about anything. What was the outcome of this “investigation “???? So here’s what.. I BELIEVE TAEIL UNHEALED, UNABLE TO PROMOTE & DANCE WAS COSTING SM TOO MUCH MONEY UNDER 3.0 CONTRACT. AN IDOL UNANLE TO DANCE INDEFINITELY IS COLLATERAL DAMAGE TO SM‼️The ONLY WAY for SM to break contract is a scandal ‘ACCUSATION’ involving SA. An accident is not TAEIL’S FAULT so what could SM possibly do to break contract❓CREATE A SCANDAL by mere ACCUSATION. THE YEAR IS ALMOST GONE & STILL NO VERDICT, THUS NO GUILT.

I don’t think it’s that weird for people to worry about that, of course their first concern should the victims of said crimes but no one wants to hear that the person that they’ve supported for years was involved in something so horrific, that being said tweeting about it is incredibly tone deaf and insensitive

Well, at least we know the problem isn't just in the Kpop Idol industry.... the exact same is happening right here in the West with the Diddy case. Rumors about lists, people fighting on social media either defending or accusing celebrities, making it about themselves instead of the victims, plus the disgusting jokes people make about the situation, like there's something to laugh about.... this is a worldwide problem.

the fact that its the same people who were saying that Taeil is a horrible person (which he most def is) and feeling bad for the victims are the same ones hoping that their bias isnt on that list.....

@ElectraTechna552 ай бұрын
I know this is bigger than Taeil but as a uni student dealing with law often I don't think people realise how overwhelming the evidence was for SM to drop a statement before rumors could spread. SM is the type of ent to back their artist and always handle shit with lawsuits/lawyers so the fact they dropped him so quick meant either the evidence was overwhelming and they couldn't make a soil argument and/or the worth of going through the legal process was greater than the money and value Taeil brought as an artist
@velvetheels2 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t say they dropped him “quickly” because he was kicked out of NCT back in August and then on October 16th his contract with SM was terminated because they had reasons to do so without having to pay him a penny(reason being that he is being prosecuted).

stan culture is devoid of empathy or genuine human emotion. i like some boy groups, but i care more about the fact that men are preying on their mothers, sisters, daughters, etc than reassurance that taemin wasn’t on the nth room list. why should a kpop star i don’t know, nor will i ever know, take priority over women and girls being victimized? it’s not about my comfort. like you said, there are real victims out there and it seems like for as much as some stans say they want to have nuanced conversations on these topics, they lack the emotional maturity to engage appropriately when these horrific situations occur. no one who wants to have a good faith conversation about misogyny in south korea and r4p3 culture would ever joke about the taeil case.

As a former Taeil fan (who still sensed something was off about him) unfanning was easy. What was annoying was seeing kpop twtr making the situation all about themselves. I was careful not to be delulu when I was stanning, but it was still hard to go back to kpop again. We REALLY don't know any of these people. Anyway Im glad I get back to this issue with your video. I can trust you to handle it with the seriousness it deserves.

No, ‘cause thank you for making this video! It really is insensitive to say that, especially when I’ve heard similar things as a sa victim by my brother, then my mom infantalising him (especially with his autism), telling me he didn’t mean it, etc., not believing me the first time I told her; when I speak to her about it, she says, it was “too unbelievable” for her, that she never thought he could’ve done such a thing; your recall of how fans made videos on the situation (13:51) crying about how their biases would never definitely reminded me of that. I’d definitely be pissed off, imagining to hear that as the victim of Taeil. I also see people still disagreeing, when someone says it’s disrespectful to the victim, when Taeil biased fans have their pity party and make it about themselves.

And a thing I hated was when Doyoung was crying or something at the airport and everyone was like I feel so bad for him like what I get like feeling lost if you knew someone and thought they were a good person in Doyoung’s defense. But making videos after videos saying ohh he must be going through so much like no not as much as the victim so what the heck.

There is a certain degree of, 'oh god what if I've been financially supporting someone who would do that to someone else', that is understandable. But thats not what those people are on about. Its always focused on the posters feelings, and not the harm that was caused, and that's what the problem is, right?

I feel like “lists” have been a horrible trend in general. I presume because of P Diddy, the idea and trend of a “secret list of horrible people who should be ostracised” is getting extremely out of hand. On one hand, people want to use it to build up their faves as perfect people who can do no wrong, completely ignoring that a crime has been committed, and on the other hand there are people who WANT famous people to appear on alleged lists so they can feel justified in harassment. A REAL list of this nature would never be published so openly by people involved in this way as they would be opening themselves a massive amount of lawsuits. I feel that the whole thing is very indicative of how desensitised to this type of thing the internet has become, absolutely everything is now “internet drama.”
