i had/have both versions of the Dunkirk, i sold the B a few days ago, paid for the second level of the event pass today and got the B back. i also got the mission to earn 1500 dubs back, i wasn't sure if it would give it to me but it did. so the event pass pay line only cost me 1000 dubs this month. love when you can game the game....

The AP is actually excellent against cruiser sub 10 km. I once got 22 citadels into a Minotaur at 11km. It’s quite surprising for people when a boat comes at 53 knots and absolutely shreds your broadside.

Okay so Le Fantasque to Le Terrible, DPM: Le Terrible has 20% more HE DPM than Le Fantasque, but Le Fantasque has ~0.8km more range. (That 20% DPM is 20k raw DPM off booster, 40K raw DPM on booster) Torpedoes: Le Fantasque's torpedoes travel at 75knots with a 1.8km detection time for a 8.94s reaction time, Le Terrible's torps travel at 65knots with a 1.4km detection for a 8.02s reaction time. Nether is exactly better as the faster torps would be easier to lead despite their longer reaction time, and the slower torps would more easily catch people off guard. Concealment: Le Fantasque has ~0.3km better concealment ASW: Le Fantasque has 14 bombs per drop, where Le Terrible only gets 6. Consumables: Le Fantasque's engine boost runs for 180s and cools down in 90s, where Le Terrible's engine boost runs for 120s and cools down in 120s. Everything else is effectively the same or near enough to not change anything. Like Le Fantasque is 0.3knots slower. So while not wildly better Le Terrible is better than Le Fantasque at gun boating, but Le Fantasque likely has better survive-ability with the longer duration and faster cooldown engine boost.

Le terrible was released ahead of the French tech tree. It was a sneak peek type release. At the time, it shocked players and wasn’t a big hit because it didn’t have a heal, smoke, or armor and open water gun boating wasn’t really a thing unless you were Khab. It is one of my favorite tier 8s.

when i got it after it first came out, was the first ship i ever got 200k+ in. It's really underrated for its tier, but gets overmatched by almost anything T8 and above unfortunately

Hey ! French here, your 2nd pronunciation of Le Terrible was very good, in French, the '-i' is pronounced like you could say '-ee', and you have to say '-ble' like there were no '-e'. If i could say the way you should say it it would probably be like : "te-rr-ee-bl"

Le Terrible is my favorite DD since years now! And noone knows about it. Thx for the vid, dude! Fanta has better Torps, but slower gun reload. Thats the trade. Little different playstyle.

Fearless brawler is nice on Le Terrible as well because when you're open water gun-boating it decreases your reload by 10%, and the stack with a reload booster can be nice when taking on enemy DD's as well. That extra range is also nice with Main Battery and AA Expert, too, though. Hmmm....thinking about my own build.

Well, it have worst torp speed but faster torp reload, and most crucially, the speedboost is 120s active 120s cooldown, instead of normal french DD 180s active 90s cooldown

Aww, Le Terrible was the best-kept secret in WOWS. Playing a Kleber at T8 is hilarious. It's also stupid easy to get superunicum PR in this thing if you have a functioning brain stem. I suppose that when it was released, nobody knew how to play it.
