Being able to tell a story that a guest relates improves rapport. If done well, it changes the experience from an integration to a fun chat where the guest feels comfortable to share. It also draws other guests as they feel they can relate to the interviewer. Most interviewers fail with engagement (eg. Colbert), Jase is gifted socially and does it well.

4:08 So that is why the faster riders still have to put oil in their fuel? Or the factory riders run completely different bikes? I mean I don‘t blame Billy Bolt for saying that. He has to. He is payed by Husqvarna. And I don‘t say, that the fuel injected bikes are bad bikes. They are great for hobby riders. (Because now even a hobby rider can ride a 250 or 300 and have some fun on it.) BUT for the pro‘s, (which have no factory recourses) a real carbureted two is much better bike!
@Eric_4D2 жыл бұрын
Billy just recently slagged off at Jonny Walker for having to re-jet his Beta all the time, factory rides swear by TPI especially in the mountains at Romaniacs Billy has run a carb bike in years..

You looking too closely and clearly not realising what’s actually going on lol
@ED-on8to2 жыл бұрын
@@BillyBolt57 I know that a lot of professional riders, which are not factory riders, still run their bikes with mixed fuel and fuel injection. (Their statement: "Stock it isn‘t up for the job.“. - I don‘t know. But I know what red fuel means!) I didn‘t say you still run carburetors, because I don‘t know your factory bikes, but I am pretty sure you are not running standard fuel injection or standard mapping. (Which is obvious, because you are a KTM factory rider.) BUT since the most people belive everything they get told, I want to remember them, to not compare stock with full factory. Because it is a different world. Again, the fuel injection is great, for hobby riders, but it isn‘t a real two-stroke!
@ED-on8to2 жыл бұрын
@@Eric_4D Your answer shows me, that you have not a lot of knowledge of two-strokes AND you didn‘t listened probably to the podcast. It is not he has to do it, he is blessed that he still is able to do it...! Carbureted two-strokes are the way better bikes for professional riders. (They have more torque, they can be adjusted to the riders needs and liking and they are way more reliable, if the user knows how to operate a two-stroke.) AND pro‘s, especially with new bikes, rejet their carburetor all the time, to get the best out of their bike! It‘s TESTING!
@ED-on8to2 жыл бұрын
@@Bryan-Hensley It shouldn‘t, because it is fuel injection, but for hard use, a lot of the pro‘s still run oil in their fuel. Plus they obviously run oil through their fuel injection.
