The Tundra line was about one foot to the right which helped keep the front right wheel loaded with traction on the Tundra. The front wheel of the Ram was off the ground due to the harder line. I would say they both performed great. I guess I’m one of the few that like the Tundra grill, I think it looks burley. Both are beautiful beasts.

@The_Opinion_of_Matt3 жыл бұрын
With my 2010 Tundra it doesn't like to go straight from 4x2 to 4lo. It prefers to go into 4hi first and it helps if the truck is moving to get the splines to line up for engagement. Then once in 4hi I put the transmission into neutral and it always goes straight into 4lo. I do wish there was an option for 2lo. I learned to drive on an `89 F-150 4x4 with manual hubs. We would leave the hubs unlocked and pull the transfer case lever back into low range, 2lo. This made it a easier when hooking up to trailers and maneuvering trailers around a tight back yard. 4lo still works for this, but the driveline binds up at tight steering angles and you can't use 4lo on pavement.

They put the transfer case you are looking for in the Sequoia. I can use 4hi or lo and leave the center un locked. It is very handy to have 4hi un locked (Essentially AWD) in the rain and snow. 4lo un locked is great for backing trailers up steep hills. My cousin has a rec property with a very steep grass entrance. Everyone needs 4wd to back their trailer up the hill without wheelspin. But I am the only one that can do it without tearing up the dirt road and grass.

I have a 2019 Ram Big Horn with the Off Road package, which is a great value (electric rear locker, full skid plates, 1 inch lift, and better shocks for about $700) The nice thing about the Ram is the shape of the fender openings. With a two inch leveling kit, you can run 35 inch tires. Neither Ford or GM can do that, and with the looks of the Tundra fenders, they won't fit 35's without a significant lift. What's the price comparison for both of these models

So the RAM costs nearly the same as the Tundra but doesn't have nearly the same amount of features? Did I read that right? I know it's MSRP and in normal times, that RAM is automatically $10K off that MSRP price but does it even have active safety stuff that is standard on the Tundra? I know it has halogen lights for nearly $57K!

I understand the desire for fuel economy tends to influence tire size, but seriously, Tundra should come stock with some oversized 32" in tires, at a minimum. I guess you have to get the TRD Pro to get bigger OEM tires.

The tire on it in this video is about 32.5”

My only concern with these trucks is how much towing capability and mpg I would give up with a simple 2" lift and 35" tires. I'd love to see someone test that for me...lol

Hey Andre, what would be the equivalent F150, have you taken it up this hill already?

Andre was Sweating a lot... I wonder if it's bc of a lot of scratching on the liners, bending the side step, the Body scratch and Of course the "Misterious" Ghostly Rock that suddenly appear in front of a Brand New 60K loaned Truck 🤔🤔⁉️❓🤣🤣
