Today we are fixing the flat tire on our 7405 John Deere! Luckily all we have to do is patch the inner tube and put everything back together. We end off by getting that tractor back to work and grinding a batch of corn. Thank you all for watching!

It was a lawyer, I believe that owns those low-houred tractors. He mainly bought them for investment purposes and it looks like he made out quite well.

I like the comment related to the location of the tire: "right passenger side tire" A single-seat tractor has only left and right driver sides.

That is crazy how much people pay for older low hours tractors? I remember grinding ear corn with an H and my Mta but we had wooden cribs so we did a lot of shoveling by this time of year! Great video!

I'd also be a bit suspicious of seals and maybe electrical issues with that 7510 having such low hours but if I were seriously looking at that compared to a new one i'd take my chances. There a proven machine, the reference to the 4020 was spot on in my book. Dad bought our 6310 with 640 loader new in 98 (early 99 model) for its size I don't think you can find a better tractor, nimble in the barn weighs enough it's not unstable with the loader, left hand reverser is great for loader work. Controls are all very well placed. He also still has a sales brochure, for the 6000 and 6000 Ten series as well as the sales slip for the tractor and loader. I think the 10 series are the best of the best, new enough to have the ergonomics of the modern cab and right console as well as left hand reverser, but old enough to have cable operated SCV's, and Transmission with the exception of the reverser.

Your 7810 is hardly broken in. I regularly run one of those with over 15000 hours on it. It's not show room new, but it starts with a quick flip of the key, no matter the weather. The newer ones don't start nearly as good.

I hate that about tires. They always stay full on the top but the bottoms seem to run out😅

Yeah I saw something on those tractors. They will bring a pretty penny but they are new. They are proven machines and they don't make them anymore. One thing about fixing tractor tires it is nice when you have the right tools. Especially the bead breaker. My cousin has a 7405 like your tractor only it has a lot more hours on it. It is used every day and has been a good tractor. They were a bare bones tractor but they get the work done just fine. Thanks for sharing the video. Y'all work so well together and I enjoy the stories and finding a dollar bill in a bale of hay is neat.

Europeans are about 10 years ahead of U.S. I know a guy that had a flat tire and there is Amish farms around, and an Amish guy told him they never have a flat tire!

You all are so damn resourceful. As far as the 7510 would be a good buy, but the your 7510 being a John Deere and in the Geriok farm care program it should last for very long time. Thanks for sharing.

that's a $1 towards that tractor you were looking at , that could well be a very good tractor if it was bought by a collector , a oil change and a check over it would be like new if it was run every so often during its life , them tires that go flat on the bottom are so annoying 🤭but you got her right now

I bet one of tractors would bring high 90,000 dollars? I remember back in the late 90’s one afternoon during spring I came home from high school an seeing one of our tractors parked inside facing inward and seen it leaning. One of the back tires had a sever split an all the fluid came out. So both got replaced they were original from 1984.

Interesting you took the tire off the tractor to work on it. Most leave it on and that seems easier when I do it. Something to hold the darn thing.

I can’t see spending big money for something like that to actually use, with no warrantee I assume. However, the more time goes by I think the value will increase if the hours don’t increase.

Is found money tax able ? Only if someone else knows about it ! As to the tire patching or tube patches . We did a lot of them when bought and moved to a different farm growing up . There were nails everywhere all over the new farm . Our neighbor bought my younger brother and I brand new tricycles . Dad used baler twine tried behind the tricycles to the magnetics that came off of our grain cleaner .We would drive back and forth with a couple of bucket on each side of the yard . We would act just like doing field work and peddling side to side, stopping at each side to clean off any nails or other metals . Mostly nails though , we did pickup a lot of nails and it did make a lot of difference in the amount of flat tires . Those front tires on the tricycles were worn throw by the time we got two wheel bicycle from auction sales as we were older . Need to say as children we didn't have much energy by the end of each day . With other chores of feeding and cleaning up after all the different farm animals and chickens , ducks and geese . Milk cows , stock cows , pigs . Two or three lambs for just to help fill part of the freezer in the fall .

Not having been exercised on a regular basis over so many years would scare me. What internal fluids have dried and coated passage ways ? What electrical components have become corrosive and who knows what else has issues and are present? If you’re going to pay new prices, send it on new.
