The ability to turn up resource rates is the greatest thing ever added to this game, as a veteran player that plays with alot of family members it has made making new worlds so much more fun, everything else is very nice too though, I love the mini bosses

The QOL stuff is SO GOOD. I’ll get to Hildur and her chores at some point but I’m really stoked on the world modifiers and auto stacking. The stacking alone is worth the cost of admission. Oh wait, it’s free.

Just getting back into Valheim but I needed to go back real quick to check out what this update is about. Such an amazing amount of new content despite how little was actually added. Those kinds of world modifiers are a large part of why I love Don't Starve and ARK so much, so that is great to see!!

People are talking about Ashlands cuz it’s been confirmed to be the next biome and then after that it’ll be another year or so until Deep North. So the reason no one is talking about Deep north atm is cuz it’s not being released along side Ashlands

I think the skybox got tweaked some. A couple cloud roll-ins at late afternoon I watched just seemed better, with the sun orb behind light cloud coverage being especially nice.

Quick question I was wondering, I read that Iron Gate have released an upcoming tournament of sorts called the "Trials of Tyr" and was curious if you had any plans to Participate in it since it's basically a Hard Mode Speedrun. Looks like an interesting thing and if you did decide to participate I'd really be looking forward to a stream or even a VOD Upload of your attempts. Question, So it seems they gave a sliding toggle for Death Penalty, the description for the lowest setting, simply says skill drain is much less than normal...Is there any data on what the value is? My friend absolutely hates the skill drain feature and if it is on, I might have a hard time getting him to get back into it. Thoughts?

From what I tested, by using dev commands on a new character and maxing their skills to 100, it seems to lower skills by up to 1 point.

Just sailing around along unexplored coastlines for a while should help, that's how I've usually found her brother. When you come within a certain distance, I'm guessing the map marker should appear like it does for the other shop. Gonna try this today myself.

No. Only if you’ve discovered all of the map. Or rather. All the meadows. Plus if needed you can force her to spawn with a command.

The thing is I've spent the last week building a gigantic a*s fort witch is not done yet before continuing the game. We have explorered like 15% of the map. It seems nice, but I got this game because I saw a modified Valheim and thought, "Oh, this game is sick." Then I buy it and discover its modifications. So I attempt to modify the game to make it seem like that video. But none of the big changes I was excited about were functioning. So I promised myself that if I couldn't get it to function by the 2 hour point, I'd return the game. I ended up returning the game. The original game was not good enough for me, and wanted to return it while I could. But with the modifications, the game looks like a 10/10.

Do world mods work on nitrado servers

Right now when it comes to servers is complicated. You have to download the world file then put it in your world folder and edit it in game to change world mods then upload it to your server. So the answer is kinda. In order to make this simple the server provider will need to implement something and I don’t think that’s on Iron Gate so I’d assume it’s coming.

One solution to this is not digging up the ground beneath the tower, and completing it as intended. Its kind of funny that you can do that and I hope they dont patch it.

i dont belive it can be even patched without compromising the game mecanisms in general, but they could do same as they did with the dwergr underground forts, just continue to building to underground to the mining limit and further. so only way to take down the tower would be actually destroying all the walls/support beams that keeps the weigh of the structure so it colapses under it's own weight.

My girlfriend and I are gonna get stoned and play this all weekend. The auto stacking and switching between snap and precision building has got me so pumped. Those two things added so much monotony to making progress. Not to mention that we can finally make it more difficult! @@mustafagoksel3211 Enable -console in the client if you already haven't done so. Then activate devcommands. Use the line Location Hildir_camp SAVE And she will spawn around you with camp, cart, loxes and all. just be careful since this will place her anywhere you currently are. so she might end up in a wierd place, in water etc etc so choose the location carefully.

It's been 9 months since the Mistlands update came out, and while it's nice to have any additional content/QoL changes it doesn't feel like much to me for a game that's made $150 million + in sales (probably more as this number was from before it was put on Xbox)

There is some stuff in the game that doesnt make sense, a friend of mine added mods which one of them was no energy consumption while building , i think is a must, how annoying is to build stairs fell off and then jumping etc, developers needs to play the game to realize what they are doing horrible,

This update actually addresses the stamina while building. You can buy clothes that make you consume less stamina while building. It’s in the video.

@@NickRawcliffe Thanks for the reply and the content, i watched it of course, but is less stamina consumption, while the mod makes it no stamina at all , building is fun for some and horrible to others, my friend is an architect and he has fun building, i do not at all sadly and having to rely on stamina while doing so is bad, there is still a lot of things in the game to make it better for casual players, as said no one that i know will spend an hour of their life travelling in a boat, just to move materials around etc...
