I think the Carpace and Eitr Armor may currently only be able to reach level 2 in the game, not level 4. What sucks is Padded provides 100. Not sure what the devs were thinking, but the new armor outright sucks and is really useless as it doesn't really offer any new protection.

Block force is a distance of an enemy got knockback when you parried, block armor on other hand is the amount you're able to block before the dmg eats your health instead. Notice that you only block around 7 dmg and tank the rest of dmg from draugr

Parry multiplier will just take that few armor and apply it towards the parry, so you'd do 2x whatever the low, low block is meaning you're parrying like 12 damage and taking a TON. Don't rely on a lantern to parry a Lox or something lol.

Notes for mistwalker, it also clears mist when held or on your back, and upgrading it doesnt increase its slash, but its frost, and adds spirit damage

There is one Eitr food you haven't mentioned and its the best one. It's called Seeker aspic, it gives you 85 Eitr, 28 Health and 14 Stamina. The recipe is 2 Seeker meat, 2 Magecap and 2 Royal Jelly. Great content tho, keep it up man

The pile bombs seems more powerful in your demo, because you cast them on stone, wich take fire damage. Stone is not effected by poison, so the ooze bombs did zero damage :) I love the spear and Mistwalker sword - cant wait to try them out.

the ballista turrets will shoot at you Unless you give them a specific target and you select the Target by equipping a trophy and activating it on your quick bar while looking at the turret

It looks like the new armor is so good and stealthy that even the second "A" was hidden. I think you may have tricked yourself up by typing "Carpace" on your sign while the armor itself is "Carapace". Like the term given to the shell/armor of an insect.

I really hope the devs change the ballistas to only target enemies and not players. My wife only likes to build and craft in the safety of my base, so id love to build a bunch of ballistas to help her if a raid happens, currently she just panics and logs off or my base gets destroyed if I am not there to help.

Regarding the Lantern, can you hold that one and the hammer at the same time? We all know how it is when building during the night on a server where you rarely get to sleep. The ballista issue could perhaps be fixed with a friendly fire setting?

Great vid mate! The Bile Bomb does fire damage as well as poison damage, thats what makes it different to the ooze bomb, and way more damage ofc!

Didn't really do an apples to apples comparison of the shields, as you went cross category. Black Metal didn't have a buckler and it doesn't look like Carapace has a tower shield. So the proper analogue would have been comparing black metal shield to carapace shield, and no comparison really with the tower shield or the buckler.

Watched the Video because of the Balista! Balista felt short! Do it shoot at tamed animals? Why does it shoot at you? Does it damage your structures? Turn radius?....many unanswered questions.

hi, there is a mistake in your explanation: "Block armor" is the amount which you get to your defense by blocking with! "Block force" is the amount by which you push someone back! SO the Dvergr lantern is not "really" meant for blocking!! - that's why you received 30-40 damage every time you blocked the Draugr with your lantern!!

I'm a bit confused; I cannot seem to get my T6 weapons/armor beyond +2. I've crafted the Forge and Table and the single upgrade modules, but the game says I need (3) to go beyond +2 and there doesn't appear to be a way to get the new crafting stations beyond level 2. Am I missing something? @Kysen

I DO NOT like the ballista targeting system....it should not target friendlies. It targets anything, including your tamed animals. I hope the dev's fix this, otherwise itll be up to the Mod community.

You are showing us level 4, but the crafting upgrades to reach level 3 and 4 are not in the update and may not exist until the next biome.

Ballista should be manned weapons, the manual reload is clunky especially with automatic firing, guess they are more mob defence associated? If you are on a PvP world, they would help deter raiders, but 1 shot fire and forget if you are AFK is a bit weak.

The balista shooting at you makes them kinda useless cause you cant just keep them always loaded, and if something attacks your base youre way better off just killing them rather than running to your balistas loading them and standing behind them, or trying to get behind the mobs so the balista hits them and not you. If they only targetted enemies you could have them loaded at all times, or when stuff attacked your base just run load them and then start fighting. I honestly think theyre useless, i placed some just to see how they work but theyre not worth the materials.

Im couries what elemental and blood magic do when you lvl it up? Will it increase damage or you will need less either/life to cast a spell? It looks like Magic will be great if you will play with a party members and you can actually act as a mage for the team. I would love to see healing staff in the future, that will take your own helf to heal your ally

I believe it improves damage and reduces eitr cost. Also, upgrading the dead raiser increases the number of minions you can control. I believe level 2 is the max upgrade for now allowing you to have 2 skellets. Higher blood magic skill improves the skellet damage.
