His style is up there with Dylan Jaeb on flat. Unbelievable precision and I’m genuinely surprised he missed that last inward heel bigger flip. His approach is really the only way to take down Jaime and he came so damn close again. Dude has to be so bummed for losing the title to Jaime yet again. He looked very nervous before the game but he skated as well as always, just the death blow. I was rooting for him and don’t get the massive amount of hate he gets (yea he skates the Berrics a lot, it’s a contest and it should be taken seriously). Also rooted for Holt but know he had no chance against Tyler or Jamie, those two have been the best for two seasons straight (crazy thing is Jamie was down to T in round 1 last season against Spencer Barton, Spencer deserved a spot back for sure). In a different timeline Jamie would’ve been out round 1 and possibly not been invited back, maybe Spencer would’ve gotten all the way to finals but we’ll never know. They def need to invite Spencer back and get Jaeb in there too, get better brackets instead of random.

Despite the fact that many of us adore the format and prestige of BATB, event organizers keep reminding us that they do not. It's ok to admit this is a sporting event and employ said acumen. First and foremost for a flatground competition: an adequate space to roll in and out of tricks! The tiny board given to Cole by staff members for the 3rd place battle was a "here we go again" moment. Almost funny (not) until the battle ended and they stated themselves the prize money for third place is substantial. Skateboarding has so many categories and aspects, this tournament is one that deserves the legitimacy they use to market and package it.

Of course any skater in these games is capable of double-flipping there tricks, but it’s not a well practiced trick because a single flip is the more natural and consistent component of a trick, when looking at all tricks. So, applying this to learning heaps of tricks with a double flip, yeh of course the other skater could have a wild amount of crazy single flip tricks in all stances, but can lose to double-flipping basics. It becomes not so much about the variety of tricks, but what tricks can the competitor double flip or not, and more. Hello dumb data, just wanted to correct you a little on the trick that Tyler did and you called it a pressure kickflip body varial. Its actually pressure heelflip body varial because of the stance and the board rotation. See, if it was kickflip, then Tyler would rotate the same direction as the board did, but Tyler went right and the board went left just like the regular heelflip. Its also the same reason why pressure flip was called a diff variation of inward heel XD. It just rotates the same way as inw heel, same stuff with pressure heel, you just add a body varial on it and thats why it kinda looks like a kickflip. Im not tryna be cocky or something, just giving some words on it. Ive been doing this trick for 1.5 years and I kinda had my eyes rolled out when I saw him doing it. To this day, I was the only person in my city who even knew about it and giving somebody the last latter on this trick was a fun thing to do lol. If you care about it, I can send you a vid explanation of the whole difference between pressure heel bv and kick bv by showing you these two but I dont think its worth any time spent tho, ofc if you are really interested in it

This is the last BATB in this building. They're now destroying the original Berrics skatepark and will soon move in to a new warehouse in which the future games are gonna take place
@Lantement Жыл бұрын
Objectively you produce the content that Berrics should produce in a competition, you do an excellent job with passion The only problem is that you're starting to get a little heavy against Tyler Peterson, who is an excellent skateboarder. Cariuma may sell crappy shoes and have been created by 2 guys from Harvard, but that doesn't stop them from sponsoring a beast. + In the game against Chris Cole he pulled off the Impossible Late Flip in first try and his Nollie inward heel too Thank you Tyler and Jamie for the real finale.

@@dumbdata34OP can cut it out. After the championship I dislike Tyler a little less but even in the championship he did some of the things that gained him hate in the first place. DD is right about some of his makes being questionable and he did all he could to act like they didn’t happen. The biggerspin he called on his own but that’s only cuz that was such a blatant violation there was no way it was gonna pass anyway. Also in his pre game interview he said he hasn’t been practicing flatground much lately. We all know that is a flamboyant lie. Just from the line up of tricks he did on offense it was very clear he had practiced those tricks over and over and over again to be done in that exact order. Nothing was spontaneous as much as he tried to play it off as being such. Even Chris Roberts outed him by accident saying Tyler has been there every day from 8am-8pm. What kind of gained him some points in my opinion was having some fun(or at least appearing to) during the 3rd place battle. How he played the championship battle is kinda what I expected, not much of a good sportsman start, and Jamie doing the exact opposite when he got on offense just really brought it to the spotlight. All in all I’d still say he’s gained a bit more favor with the viewers after finals night.

Nahhh, people still dislike Tyler. No double hardflip is going to change that any time soon. The guy's a douche when it comes to doing tricks clean. And even when one of his own redo calls might have effectively lost him the game, it is striking neither Steve nor he called for more redoes throughout the game. It's good Jamie doesn't really care either way. But I don't think Tyler should have won in a white wash fashion anyway. It wouldn't have been justified. And yeah all the inbetween ads and filler footage was terrible. I'm glad I did not watch it live and could skip through all of that.

@@non_brewed_condiment lol I’m definitely gonna go back and watch. Honestly I’m surprised someone hasn’t gotten beat up doing that. The amount of hate towards Jamie in the stream was crazy. People really don't have any idea what they're talking about anymore. Even Tyler actually, the hate against him is not justified whatsoever. They are new skaters, they're not expirienced in competetions yet the two of them dominated, straight up. Remove all the bad calls and you still have a bag of tricks between them two that are a fucking honor to the skating community.
@googleuser298 Жыл бұрын
Tyler had justifiable hate because he didn't call his own redo (Both in the round 3 finals and with Jamie. Stop pretending that never happened. Jamie did nothing wrong here for the hate but Tyler was trying not to get caught making mistakes. So tired of people ignoring the obvious.

The switch tre revert was fine, Idk what people are going on about… and the people complaining that Tyler didn’t start with the basics-maybe Tyler wanted to win? What bothered me was Tyler blatantly lying about not practicing flatground much before the match. We all know thats BS. Chris Roberts even outed him by accident when him and Mike Mo were talking. “Tyler has been here every morning from 8am-8pm.” It was very clear watching Tyler’s offense that he practiced those same tricks over and over and in that same order. None of those tricks were spontaneous. I’d say the few somewhat simple tricks he threw in were intentional to make it not as obvious

Nyjah has to be included based on his game with P-rod last season, he has more tricks than a few in your list.
