Bro...This is so weird. For the past few weeks I have constantly felt fatigued, depleted and burnt out. I have been trying to do everything, everywhere with everyone because I promised myself to do "the most" this summer (in terms of work and events) and I haven't felt as though i've been 100% myself for a while. I've been waking up stressed and tired even in the mornings when you're supposed to be fresh, recharged and happy...and this isn't a good sign at all. I randomly stumbled across your video as i've been thinking about buying an affordable PC desktop to get back into wow as I heard they're bringing back classic (I haven't played for 10 years) and the first thing you said in the video about taking care of yourself blew me away. Hunter was the last class to be playable when wow first came out in 2004 how funny is it now has even more bugs when they release 200-2006 version of the game again.

As far as Sonii's duel goes, that's not entirely accurate. He was only able to land AAs on Bean when they strafed closer to eachother, he was mostly hitting Bean's pet while they strafed around the trap. There were still a couple of longrange autoattack swings from Sonii, but he was 100% NOT landing attacks directly across the trap.

Hey Tips! The new mic sounds great man! However, it sounds like you have it attached to your desk, and if that is the case I would recommend getting a shock mount for it. There were several times where you put your hand down on the desk and your mic picked up the vibration! Otherwise great video man I love your videos! Scatter shot into frost trap used to be the main tactic of a hunter in classic as i played it to re-sett fights. i did it many times and the diminishing return that should be on trap shouldnt be affected by the Scatter shot as it havent got a diminishing return.

Blizzard is most likely following the Nost Guide to Classic. Which there is nothing wrong with that because employees come and go, so do memories at times. If it's as close to "the old days" as it possibly can be then people should be happy with it :) Not implying you aren't, but I've seen some people complain how things are not like they recall but that doesn't mean their memories are 100 % correct either. Haha

As classic gets closer and closer I'm getting more and more excited to roll ARMS WARRIOR. Still haven't decided if I'm going horde or alliance...I'm thinking either Orc or Tauren warrior or human warrior. I'm really looking forward to some classic arms BG's. I hope it doesn't ruin my nostalgia too much. Luckily I didn't play classic until towards the end and I had no freaking clue what I was doing so for me it's pretty much a new game. BC will be a re-release for me but then I took a break during part of wotlk so that one will also be mostly a new game(I did play some parts of wotlk though, about half).

Sorry to see you declared hamstring kiting dead without actually uploading any test footage. I would watch night's video, title "Classic WoW Warrior Hamstring Kiting", (I didn't link it as I don't really know if that gets you banned or what). It's a 90 second video of him hamstring kiting successfully, and he claims to have done it on the beta (and his client includes the bug reporter, so it's an elaborate hoax if it is one). But certainly, someone claims to have successfully hamstring kited mobs in the beta, with accompanying video footage, and also claimed to be able to apply rend/reapply hamstring without taking extra hits.

Pro tip: do not go on wowhead to look for gearing guides for your class, they may be horribly wrong. Mages for example, almost don't want any loot from Molten core (tyhere are a few pieces that are BiS that you get there, they last you the whole game. the following things are what you want as a mage: "Choker of the Fire Lord", "talisman of ephemeral power", "ring of spellpower", "mana igniting cord", "Azuresong Mageblade" & "robes of volatile power". these 6 things are what you want, "talisman of ephemeral power" & "Choker of the Fire Lord" are BiS or close to Bis so you never have to switch them out the whole game. you want nothing else as a mage from molten core. Tier 1 is useless, dungeon gear is better, you want that Frost spell power and the Tier armor doesn't have it. as soon as ZG comes out in Phase 2 you want the Bloodvine set (crafted gear, but requires mats from ZG). I'm not sure which other classes' gearing guide are wrong on wowhead, but mage is, so just saying, don't trust guides bindly if you care about doing well in classic. So hunter deadzone is now 7 meters?`Oh you poor bastards. it's good thing I won't be playing hunter in vanila. I was tempted to make a hunter alt, just for nostalgia sake, I mained a hunter in vanilla. But if they are moving the deadzone to 7 yards, I'm not touching that class. Here is a tip for you. Removing videos from your channel deletes views that those videos have gotten, it males your channel worse, don't do it. just put "*OUTDATED*" on it so you keep the views. if you delete the video you decrease your channel views by tyhe number of views those videos have gotten.

Are you considering a ton of non-raid items are also not going to be in at launch as well? "Dungeon gear is better" Yeah I dunno. I didn't look at much of the caster dps stuff, but just taking a quick glance at healing gear and the pre-raid items available are... rather weak. This isn't meant as an argument for T1 necessarily, just saying you aren't going to rolling through MC with DM blues either. It isn't just DM either, a lot of drops in the regular 60 dungeons won't be in yet.

100% truth that most videos are basing videos on private server data and say its about the same. I played vanilla and from my experience not every guide is universal for every group anyway but here is the truth so take it or leave it. When classic launches your going to struggle to complete quests and compete for resources, the ones who succeed will be the first in dungeons and posting BOE items in the AH. Blizzard is betting there will be people playing just for the feeling of nostalgia and there will be the first few weeks but the hopes is that they will be gone before the second phase. I liked this video, the hunter in vanilla took a lot more skill than todays current hunter. Back in the old vanilla days doing PVP as survival hunter being able to time a 360 wing clip trap drop and distract shot then move to start dps rotation.. (if you timed it right you wouldn't see the crouch with the trap drop).

I am super disappointed that MC will not be tested prior to release. I am very concerned that players will be way to powerful going in to MC and that the experience will be horrible and doing MC will feel like a chore because of how uninteresting it will to do it because of how easy it will be.

MC will be tested internally. It has always been pretty easy. The only thing that was ever difficult about MC was getting 40 level 60 players back in the early days of vanilla. It will most likely be the same issue for most guilds come classic launch too. I'd recon most players wont ding 60 until phase 2.

But I am concerned that most guilds will be so powerful with the 1.12 item stats, 1.12 talents, and 16 debuff slots that the bosses will get crushed and most people never even experience things like Rags submerge phase or see Shaz blink more then 1 time in a fight unless they only bring 20-30 people to raid. Part of my concern is that if MC and BWL are bad experiences because of how trivial they might be in Classic, it could turn many people off before they see AQ or Naxx that will be more properly tuned for the 1.12 stats, 1.12 talents and 16 debuff slots.

Thought about playing a hunter since I don't have the time to play as hardcore as I did back in vanilla, so I want to be as efficient as possible with the time that I have. The hunter "changes" does not sound fun at all. If anything hunters could use a little buff in the way they scale with gear, to make them a bit more viable as lategame dps. Oh well, we have to wait and see =)

I'm so excited to actually play vanilla wow, seeing as I'm a cata baby but current retail wow just cannot hold my interest anymore. I want the rpg back into the mmo. But what worries me that since we'll be getting new servers, faction balance will probably become a problem at some point because nobody can guess where players will be migrating and it would certainly be nice to not have to merge servers at any point. Here's to hoping I can pick a good server.

When classic wow was announced I was so hyped but as I followed the beta and threads about all these "features" and "no changes" I feel like the game just can't ever reach its full potential. And no, I didn't play back when vanilla was out so I have no nostalgia about it. Having "no changes" just because stuff wasn't like that back then and preventing game to feel better is just something I don't understand.

The no changes thing is mainly because making changes is opening a can of worms, both with balancing and with breaking the experience. Classic wow was an accidental masterpiece that was both a great playing experience and an amazing community builder. Even small changes could very easily disrupt the economy, community growth, or gameplay. Small quality of life changes like mass looting could actually severely effect the economy, back in vanilla wow gold was far more valuable than in modern. A tiny change that seems like simple quality of life could totally throw the economy out of whack and take away some of the amazing feelings of accomplishment that classic gave players. It was totally common to reach your mount level without having enough gold to buy a mount. getting your first epic mount, was ACTUALLY EPIC. Classic took a lot of time and in turn it gave a very rewarding feeling. Small changes is what took WoW from classic to Bfa. That's why all of the classic fans that hate modern wow are concerned and chanting no changes. With all that said I'm not one of the hardcore no changes people. Idc if there are little changes that dont effect the community aspects or gameplay. From what I can tell blizzard did AMAZING with classic. The made some changes but they knew where to draw the line.

Classic is being released because of an overwhelming community of people that want to play classic vanilla. If you never played vanilla you dont understand its potential or how it felt to make such bold statements as you did there. If you dont like classic that's your opinion. As for the millions of people who completely quit WoW because the developers made changes they thought would bring out its "potential" or make it "better"..... WoW literally lost millions of subscribers and is regularly referred to as a dying game due to small changes someone thought would be "better".

should be said that dungeon leveling was only so efficient because you had 5 twinked out characters blasting through dungeons with consumables and profession items like bombs... on release you won't have any of that if you're going for speed and leveling the way joana did will still be faster. feel free to disagree, but you'll be wrong if your plan is to get 60 asap and you're going with dungeons.

this is the plan for August 27th... get to lvl 3 and grind mobs that no one needs for quests till 10, maybe pick up some kill quests along the way to complete while grinding, at 10 go to the least populated zone... Since so many undead lvl in the barrens I might be a cow in a forest.

I was approved for 2 weeks of vacation starting August 27th. After playing beta I realized with a full time job house and family... there is no way I can play like I did when I was 15 back in 2005. No matter what I do I cant keep up with the... dedicated players. Nevertheless, I'm still really hyped to play casual.. sure I'll hit 60 late.. and have noob gear for a bit.. but any gear I get as an upgrade will be exciting for me.. and that's what it's all about.

My best guess is that, since the engine will be rather close to that of retail WoW, that he can invite you into a party and you will be on his layer/shard/call it what you like (or visa versa, you may be able to pull him out of that gank by inviting him).

I doubt Tips has time to read comments but if you do: How would you select the realm you are going to be playing on? Only reason I ask is because in Vanilla most servers slowly migrated to either side, meaning people who were on the losing side (even if slightly) would move to a more 1 sided server. I want to play on an even sided server, knowing this will probably not happen, what method can one use now a days to try to find a server that is balanced?
