Your comment about insurance in the States was misinformed, to a point. In the US, individual states have their own rules/laws concerning insurance. I think most states require some type of liability and injury insurance, but as I say, those regulations vary from state to state. Similar to helmet laws, some states have no helmet law, some states require helmets for riders under the age of 18 (or 21), some require helmets unless you have XXX dollars of personal injury insurance coverage, some states require helmets for all riders. It can sometimes be confusing to riders that travel from state to state, keeping up with individual state laws/regulations. Ride safe, enjoy your time on 2 wheels, and thanks for the videos.

Winter is fast approaching. The leaves are changing color very quickly where I live. Time to pull the windshield out of the closet and put it back on my Scout. Makes riding in the winter so much more bearable with it on. Insurance is required in South Carolina and I just bought another bike Saturday to add to my other two. A good ol' Kawasaki KLR 650. It's a used one an old friend had for sale. I couldn't pass it up. There's a lot of mountain dirt roads to ride! Yipee! I'm not a fan of sweet coffee. Hi 👋, Red Rider , thank you for sharing your ride out in the countryside, I’m not telling you what to do, please give the metal objects a bit more space, as you nearly had a Woopsie, could’ve been painful, and your bike will definitely need some repairs to it, But I think we all have done it a moment of relapse , I remember once trying to get out of the way of an ambulance, I ended up nearly line my bike over, I was stationary, but I was trying to give the ambulance more room to get through traffic, I don’t think Loki would like being in the cage , I think you’ll find it will make a lot of noise, like all of us being locked up in a cage, Pumpkin Starbucks coffee latte , didn’t look, particularly appetising, I do like their normal lattes with soya milk, quite a few years ago I went to Chicago, for my sons wedding, in the winter time, I understand now why they call it windy city, I was very impressed Starbucks as there was one just outside the hotel that I was staying, they done a bread bun that they took the top off and filled with soup of your choice, it was very very Moorish, 😂 , looking forward to seeing the strip down, 😂, and fixing those nasty oil leaks, ride safe, catch you on the flipside as you say, 😂 Phil from the moulin,

Insurance is not optional in NY. I pay $114 per year for my '87 FXR. That covers collision, theft, liability, everything. I totaled it in 2000 just after putting a ton of money in to it. State Farm wanted to give me a fraction of that for it. I begged them to cover the repairs and not total it. They gave in and paid for everything. It's the only claim I've ever had. I still have the bike.

Hi Red that was a nice ride. When I shut my bikes down for the winter they have full tanks with non oxygenated premium gas. It has no alcohol and that is what wreaks havoc in the fuel system. I don't know if you can get that in Canada. I bought a Classic to replace the Ultra Classic that I hit the deer with, and trying to make up some lost time. It's going to be a long winter. Let it be our little secret. Please don't tell my Doctors. Just my opinion but if had to pick I would shut down the shovel. This is a good time of year to have a windshield on the Dyna. Ride safe Angel.

It seems to me that the wide glide is much smoother than the springer, only problem is, springers are so cool right? Just make sure you keep thar springer greased and check spring tension at least twice a season, because HD engines like to loosen things, and you don't want anything loose on a springer! We all have mandatory insurance in the US, who told that we didn't? Great ride and enjoy!

I thought it was dependent on the state you lived in. I checked into it again and it not mandatory in Florida to have MC insurance... I'm not even sure where I heard that to begin with now.

Can you take us on a night ride and tell us another scary story for Halloween? Or maybe in a dark garage with Loki by candlelight.

Don’t feel bad about having to do some “maintenance repairs” on the shovel. It happens. My Indian is going to require over $1000 in parts, which made me pull it off the road in July. So the Softail got ridden a lot more than usual this year. As far as insurance is concerned here in the states, I think it varies somewhat state to state. Here in Ohio, we have to carry it. We also have to pay for uninsured/underinsured motorists as part of each policy. Which makes no sense, since we’re all supposed to carry it to get licenses, plates, etc. (Of course folks can lie when getting plates or licenses, cuz we don’t have to show proof at that time…..🤷♂️) Stupid, I know. Stay cool Angel! (You’re most likely a touch colder up there than we in Ohio are.)

You know, I never got the HD thing. I just never liked Harleys, pretty much except for rare exceptions, but watching her ride these bikes, the knucklehead, especially I can start to understand why people love them so much it’s great sounding engine and her knucklehead is beautiful for a Harley though I would definitely have a bigger tank but it probably wouldn’t be as cool with a bigger tag. Send it is now. I’m still sticking with trying for at least now I can understand and respect the HD thing.

I guess everyone has their preference when it comes to bikes. My faves are the Harley’s because of the style and sound, and I think the shovelhead engine Sounds the best… but I could be bias hahah. I’m glad you are liking my content Adrian 😃

I use to think the hell with getting rear ended. Pass pass pass Idk. It’s a good idea until some stabs breaks on ( rice can go under) without me.
