Hon. JK, votes cast in past elections cannot be relied to predict success in August election. Sitting MPs, Senators, Governors, MCAS, etc. have to go back to seek for votes. Baba should not be cheated by high numbers of votes cast for him in the past. The supporters don't remain captive to decision of earlier choices. His campaign teams should be advised accordingly.

It is highly dynamic. There is a certain projected figure Raila needs to win. The support he has from various parts of the country changes. If that support grows in regions outside Mt Kenya, then it follows he will need a lower percentage of Mt Kenya votes to win. But of course, he can always make do with more votes to increase the margin of safety.
