I really like the quality of MN rc models compared to WPL ones. Their plastics are better, things fit tighter, and the molding is consistent, so I can attest that the MN82 is a winner in my books.

Traxxas released an "upgraded" line to a few of their trucks, like the XRT, with a $1500 price tag on it. They also discontinued the Rigid body UDR, and are supposedly going to release a new livery UDR soon.

The big 100 rtr has arrived. Not sure I spend 1500 on that truck... maybe if it was vanquish everything hahaha. I'll keep saving for a ripper 2 hahaha. I want the mercury chassis lc70... but... I'm in love with the chassis. I think I'd just prefer a brx02... As for the question. I think doing kits will be interesting. But you should add wheels/tires. How many kits, wheels, and tires are released in 2024. Or just kits... haha

Without battery I would call it ARTR. Rtr is everything needed to run the vehicle. I have seen many variations of ARTR like no electronics, just steering servo or only missing battery and charger.

MNRC has been around nearly as long as WPL. Many parts are interchangeable but MN has better quality

That MN82 is a slightly larger clone of the WPL 1/12th trucks. The chassis are similar but very little can transfer between them besides the bodies and some other parts. A step above toy grade but the bodies look pretty scale and be fun for indoors or just cheap tinkering.

I honestly doubt and cannot imagine you have never seen a MN model. This company is no rebrand at all, but is also sold rebranded under many different names (for example Amewi here in Europe, Fayee, DoubleE, on US Amazon as GoolRC, etc.) and even larger RC shops (here) sell those (toy) Defenders, mega popular and super cheap and perfect as a base for upgrades, mods, custom painting, ... The company/brand MN showed up about the same time as WPL and many of the parts of their 1/12 models are interchangeable with WPL (however, own, differend axle and frame design). Their 1/12 Land Rover Defender (MN90, MN96, MN98, MN99) is mega popular and probably the model out of the "WPL class" with highest sales worldwide, way more than any WPL model. They do also have a Toyota Land Cruiser (MN40, MN45), a Jeep Cherokee (MN78), and a Mercedes G500 (MN86). They are really super popular, and also larger RC-car channels (e.g. Tomley) show their models. BTW: Cannot remenber (guess watched all SNU episodes 2023), but then you probably also have missed their first 1/18 release, about half a year ago, a 1/18 Land Rover Defender with metal (!) body which is available as kit and RtR, and with pickup or cabin body style: the MN111 - you should ad it to this years list maybe in last 2023 SNR ;-) Merry Christmas!
