If Marisa Tomei returns as May Parker in MCU Spider-Man 4, regardless of if it takes place on a different universe that Doom makes or not, No Way Home would've been pointless in every way. Recently, Willem Dafoe was asked if he'd be willing to return as Green Goblin in MCU Spider-Man 4, and he responded with, "We'll see." I know that MCU Spider-Man 4 is going to be another multiversal film, but if that aspect is going to take out all the emotional points of No Way Home, what was the point of the film?

_Yo, I had a crazy ass dream last night of Spider-man 4._ _It was a massive, sick battle between rage Hulk & Spidey._ _Hulk had got some of the symbiote and lost control, becoming some kinda Venom-Hulk monster, then Spidey (wit his own black suit symbiote) had to fight Hulk to get it off of him WHILE tryna save MJ from Venom-Hulk._ _Then after that, Spidey had to fight himself to get the symbiote off and lock it away somewhere._ _And yes, it was obv Tom's Peter, Zendaya's MJ (Who eventually, somehow remembered Peter) & Ruffalo's Banner & like the 2012 Avengers rage Hulk. Not the current Professor Hulk._ _Ik this ain't happening, it's jus an awesome, random dream I jus had. And you kno, you can't really control what you'll randomly dream about. Lol_ _I wish yall could've seen it tho, shit was INSANE!_

If they sold Spider-Man back to Marvel, they could cash in big, recover from the flop of their villain movies, and finally invest in top-tier writers to build their own cinematic universe. Agreed. I was honestly just about to ramble something basically the same as this. If them trying to do stuff that isn’t working, doesn’t work, they probably shouldn’t do it. And the fact that they are using marvel to help them with their Spider-Man movies, like just give the rights back at that point. If your company has to piggyback off of another company just to make something fans like, then just give the control back go who you’re piggybacking off of.

It’s just so laughable. Why was it so hard for them to just put Andrew Garfield as their Universes Spider-Man and have the movies be from the point of view of the villains and how they view Spider-Man. People would have packed out every theatre for that just as they did for no way home. It was the obvious choice to just make him the Spider-Man and have it be in the universe of the old TASM movies or a new one.
