@@benjihight1180 actually it does effect the yield could be head loss feeder loss. A lot of things going on that can cause a loss. It kinda falls on how it pours to the ground. Like the spelling out of the bin can be saved.

Looking spunky lsla, you can be a person with a broken arm for HALLOWEEN, Zach we have cobs in the grain cart in IOWA also. Can you turn the air up a hair and slowdown a touch to get the leaves out of the grain cart. Cant you put alarms or cameras in your bins to catch the overflow?

It hurt me to see that x ray of her elbow. I have a daughter her age and just thinking about her going through that makes me nauseous. She definitely does look like a trooper and it’s great to see her in good spirits.

That was the reason I watched this vid, to see how she was doing. For sure the Dr's did a great job but not enuf credit is given to the Medics who responded and recognized the injury for what it was. Their actions and treatment may well have saved that arm. Look up 'Limb threatening injuries". Trying to get the casualty to sit still enough to splint and sling is an almost impossible job with them screaming and the parents yelling at you to do something. Becky must have been pretty upset. That was a bad break, They'd be x-raying looking for bone fragments.

Might be the dryer corn giving you a nice clean sample. When we do high moisture corn 25 to 30 for the bunker my sample has way more cob then when I shell under 20%. I also find you can run your chaffer a lot tighter in dryer corn everything works much better when it's under 20 for me. Im interested in a side by side with your combine in the same variety and moisture vs the X9

Being a JD combine owner/operator in Idaho for many, many years the only time I got cob in the tank is when the corn sieves were open a bit to much. But this is in Idaho, not sure about your area but I would think it would be the same. Cheers... and love that new X9 machine. Wish I could afford to own one.

Engineers angle the cab roof to spill back into the header like a grain water slide. Just a thought. That was impressive cab corn. When I was on wheat harvest crew in the 90s I would turn on the road flashers at night so my brother driving grain cart knew which combine to pick up. Case IH pro harvest support picked up on that and I always wondered if the modern machines do that now from my idea.

It’s a rotar thing my S series gets a little cob New Holland doesn’t because they run a double rotor which is why Deere finally smartened up and put a double rotor in that X9 and I will bet they will eventually put a double rotor in there S series
