People forget Leeds have kept 17 clean sheets themselves, the game was billed as best attack vs best defence but our defensive record is the 2nd best in the division to Burnley and but for 3 games where we conceeded 3 and the odd keeper howler, the difference in goals conceeded between the teams would be much less. Basically, both teams with the two best defences in the league went out with a don't lose it mentality and cancelled each other out though at least we threatened at times without ever really going for it. Both teams are probably happy to take a point and move on especially with other results going in both our favour and this game should never be mentioned again.

You have to be realistic Leeds are a very good team and I would not have been happy loosing, so yes I am happy with how Scott is coaching the team. Bad advertisement for the championship? All you cover is the PL which has turned into a series of corporate events. With the exception of this season you could name the top 6 and very rarely be wrong in the teams you name. The championship is clearly more exciting. It’s not even up for debate. Is the football that Scott Parker good to watch? No. But the fact they’ve only conceded 9 goals all season is a very unique and commendable achievement.

Burnley are the most boring team in the Championship. Very hard to beat though. Puts them in a better place to succeed if they do get promoted though, compared to a team like Southampton who played champagne football last year and couldnt cope in the prem

You build a team from the back. Get the foundations right, build a solid defence, then add more in the attacking areas. Too many teams do it the wrong way round, put an emphasis on bringing in attacking players, often at huge cost, when their defence is not good enough.

There was a huge overhaul at the beginning of the season for Burnley with 19 players leaving and almost that coming in, a new manager with a remit to get us promoted so this was a completely new project and rebuild. Building from the back and setting the foundations is the way they have decided puts us in the best possible position not only to get promoted but to hopefully have a foundation that could help stay in the Premier league, which has in recent years become increasingly difficult. This final part on the Championship campaign will be about building on that foundation to try and address the lack of goals. I personally have faith in this approach and think the job they have done already is outstanding. I am led to believe SP and the coaches are currently aware of the goal issues and are working tirelessly to address this. We are in a better position than I thought possible during the summer transfer window with the way we were almost daily seeing players leave.

It's all very well saying that you need to get the defensive things right and from that will eventually come the goals. However when getting things right from the back means you have all your players in defence, when you do attack against a decent side they are going to pick you off with counter attacks because you won't have your ten man defence in place.

Dear FA, English Football League, etc Can I propose 3 changes to how Men's Professional Football Game Results are rewarded. 1) If a game finishes 0-0, the Home Side should be awarded, 0, NIL, NOUGHT, NOTHING, BIG FAT ZERO. (If the home team won't attack, and the away side is parking the Bus, playing for a point). 2) If an away side Wins, they should be awarded 5 points, not 3. One truism is that you need a very good defence to have a chance in the Premier League. That means if Burnley get promoted they should be able to grind out points. The thing is though ….against very slick prem sides that will get exposed much more than in the Championship, however with that said and if Parker does as he says, Burnley are very likely to be in the top two as they will keep grinding out results unless they get injuries. A couple of defenders out and it could go south. All four of the current top sides have flaws, only time will tell.

Too much emphasis on this particular game which was always a bad way to go from the start. I think it's blown out of proportion this reaction. It was boring, really boring but the draw wasn't a terrible result for both parties and therefore wrote the script for the game. With Sunderland and Sheffield United dropping points it was not so much a must win game! If this fixture was towards the last few games of the season with a few points in it, it would have been a completely different game. SP is a sensible manager and the tools he has had and the players pulled from the rug at the start of the season, it's nothing short of an amazing job! Do I prefer the VK attacking football? Of course I do, but we don't have those players! Bad advert for Championship but end of the day, we play to win the league, not entertain the neutrals!

The championship is a complete bore fest. Fans want goals. Have look at the average goals scored per game. It's been round about 2.5 for many years but is now sliding towards 2 goals per game (Burnley's is about 1.5). All the pundits celebrating this like it's some kind of wonderful thing. It's football, the whole point of the game is to ENTERTAIN the fans. Parking the bus every week and hoping to hit a team on the break and win 1-0 is not entertaining. Burnley are the most negative and boring team I have ever watched, they're like watching paint dry. This is not what people want to see, I've spoken to a fair few Burnley fans who are furious with it, they want to see exciting free flowing football, not week on week bore fests, 0-0 draws and 1-0 wins. Leeds have kept, is it 17 clean sheets but they score for fun, they're games a great to watch, full of dram and excitement, they entertain people.
