At approximately 2:20 there is a small bisque colored trinket box, with flowers on lid. I have that exact thing!! It was given to me by a student, many years ago and for that reason, I love it! I remember he was SO proud of his gift to me!! Sweet memories!!

5:11I had that ancient Egyptian chest book when I was a kid. (Middle bottom shelf.) It was so cool. It came with rubber stamps so you could write hieroglyphics and even came with supplies to make a necklace with your own protection charm. It locked too. It was awesome sauce!

You can fix the discoloration on your bowl with 40 cream peroxide for hair. Use a paint brush or Qtip to apply it to the discolored area, put the bowl in a clear plastic bag(keeps it wet) and place it in bright sunshine. The amount of time varies depending on the amount of direct sunlight it gets. Could take a couple hours to a couple days. I use this method to fix discolored vintage plastic toys and electronics

The dish staining can be removed by coating it with a wet paste of cream of tartar and hydrogen peroxide. Put it on, let it sit 20-30 minutes, then scrub with a soft toothbrush. Repeat until stains are totally gone. It works.

The lidded piece at 7:21 is hand painted Bulgarian pottery. That specific piece is called a gyuveche (pronounced give-o-shay, means family meal) dish. I love mine!!

Today I found THREE BEAUTIFUL OLD BIG YELLOW WARE BOWLS>. At the nicer antique shop! Modern is LOVELY, but for us that were thrilled by moving to New England years ago and finding really really old things, to USE.....to be able to purchase more makes me happy. I just pay for the primitive really old stuff, with NEWER MODERN stuff I thrift! :) Thrifting lets me, get the items of my dreams for ME. The prices are down, but, my yellow ware bowls are well loved in my kitchen cabinets!

Hiya guys, oh my at the 2.50 mark a version of my grandmothers China set! I’ve never seen it anywhere & there’s another leaf pattern? I have hers & it’s oak leaves with acorns, same red, cream, gold edges. Now I know I can possibly find cups that’d blend in well, thanks for your excellent camera work! Since we got a skiff of snow, people stayed away today so it was Blue color stickers at $1.79, at the Goodwill. I bought myself a creamer and sugar bowl from The Edwin M. Knowles probably from the early 40's resell for both $45.00, sugar bowl has its lid no cracks or chips.

The certain person who soon will open a store needs to think about buying the triangle-y painted case for the new place! I love, love interesting pottery! My sister took art classes at the DeYoung Museum in SF and I went with her once and I threw a bowl which I still own! So fun!! I recently sneeked in 4 pcs that are hidden in plain sight and no one has noticed yet! Looks like someone needs a Mexican pottery connection for all the neat pieces you like so much! Would be really inexpensive down there. Our son lives a few miles away from the border from AZ! Hmmm...

I agree that the shoes are pincushions. It could be one for Mother & one for daughter or for two separate type of pins. Depending on the economic status of the owner it could be dressmakers pins and lace work a much finer pin. I collect pincushions but mine are mostly those belonging to a lower $ status and have fabric other than a velvet. More $$ would also have a stropping thimble while others would sharpen pins & needles on a cup or plate bottom.

Carnival glass is pretty, but I really really want the GREEN uranium glass. I can't find it in my area. Stay away from the yellow depression glass, buy a cheap LED flashlight at Walmart and carry it with you to check to see if the green glass glows. And buy pink depression glass.

At 13:38 there’s a powder blue teapot with black handle. Very oriental looking I also have that exact pot! Only in teal green. It’s made of metal and HEAVY for its size. Would be interested in knowing anything about it. I got mine at a local thrift store, (I’m in Seattle area). If you have info on the piece please share. Thanks!
