This was the movie that brought Scooby-Doo back from the dead. It had lost its popularity because fans were sick of the “monsters” just being freaks in costumes. The moment you see Fred literally decapitate a Zombie and it turns out that it is indeed a real zombie, it’s an “Oh My God” moment. And then out of nowhere, the zombies all come out right as this masterpiece starts playing and it truly embraces the horror aspect of Scooby-Doo. At that moment, everyone knew SCOOBY-DOO WAS BACK!!! Zombie Island will forever be the peak of the franchise.

This is certainly the most creative cover I've heard of the song, adding neat flourishes that weren't in the original. The video is really good too! I can tell you extracted the best product from a tiny budget through creative lighting and editing.

(We hear sinister laughing in the distance) Debbie:" he-he-hello, AHHH!" (Mystery by Ricky manning plays) ,(we then cut to the coolsville malt shop ). Fred:"listen to this gang, girl kidnapped by ghost clown outside the the coolsville caverns". Daphne:" Wait a minute,is that the same girl that got kidnapped by the fish creature".Velma:" yes ,yes it is". Fred:"Well gang I say we get to the bottom of this mystery". Shaggy:"Couldn't we go to the bottom of the sea instead?" Scooby ": yeah". (Part 2 soon)...

It's a zombie apocalypse! It’s like a god damn horror movie! ” (More zombies appears out of the bayou) Daphne: “ You're not a skeptic, Fred. You're in denial ” Dove: “ Yeah Fred, you are ” Me: “ Don’t worry guys. I’ll protect you ” (More Zombies came. Then suddenly they hear a scream) Fred: “ It's Lena! We left her and Simone unprotected! ” Me: “ Come on, we've got to rescue them before they become Zombie chow! ” (They run and then I accidentally cause Fred to drop the camera in the quicksand) Daphne: “ The camera! It's quicksand! ” Me: “ I’m sorry Daphne ” Daphne: “ It’s okay Tim. It was a accident ” (Then, the camera sinks down into the quicksand. The zombies are heading toward them) Me, as I run away with Dove following behind: “ RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!! “ Dove, as she runs after me: “ Good idea Tim! ” Fred, as he and Daphne run after us: “ This way! ” (They run as the song "It's Terror Time Again" plays with all more zombies rising out of the ground and the heroes continue running)
