That beskar bit, at the end, made me think of Thrawn. He'd be the kind of mind to use misdirection like that, plus, they obviously have a shit ton of beskar to thrown around. It reminded me of "Rache" (German for "revenge") being spelled in blood, in A Study in Scarlet (Sherlock Holmes), to misdirect the police into thinking the crime was done by a secret society.

I love this episode so much!! It was so much fun and very cool. Great reaction! Your enthusiasm is so lovely to watch, Nerdy. I just wonder if the Armorer has a hidden agenda for Bo-Katan and the rest of the Mandalorians... Why else have that ominous music playing when Bo-Katan went down the stairs? That was weird, right? I felt like she was gonna get shot or something. I was like: "please don't be evil!"😅 Sometimes the tone in the music is sounding evil and then it turns out it isn't and it confuses me. I might be wrong but now I worry a little. Can't wait to watch the next episode, I'm so excited!

Formidable episode that beautifully ties in all the previous disjointed plotpoints, but seriously, how is nobody talking about the director !? PETER RAMSEY !!! One of the 3 directors from Spiderverse !!! And you guys wondered why this episode had such a theatrical look to it !? And no wonder why it also blend in such great elements of animation (Zeb in particular). What a first foray in live action ! And in Star Wars !!! I'm really looking forward to whatever he comes up next. If Star Wars is looking for a new movie director, I really feel the Mandalorian series is prepping up an entire new stable for all the next movies sagas, with Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers and now Peter Ramsey !

They just mentioned a few episodes back that the rest of bo katans group was roving as mercenaries. Very well could be them. That or since it's a broken fragment it could be imperial beskar that wasn't forged properly

"The guy from Jaro Tapal's species" That was Zeb from Rebels. He was around before Jaro Tapal was created in Jedi Fallen Order. I love seeing the nods and cameos from Rebels as its going to tie in nicely to when Ahsoka has Hera Sindula and Sabine Wren from rebels in her show. I also believe the TIEs in the fight when Bo and Din came back from Mandalore were from a fleet linked to Thrawn (as he was fond of Interceptors and Defenders rather than regular fighters).

I think it is Bo-Katan's former group, who left her to be mercenaries, and now they work for the bad guys. Making a reunification of Mandalorians at bit more difficult.

Or it could be thrawn or giddeon framing the mandalorians by using beskar. Mandalorians wouldn't leave beskar lying around, they'd rather die than give it up so leaving it in a floating ship makes no sense. I think it's somoeone framing them.

I don’t think any of this is new to the armorer. She grew up hearing that the mythosaur was mythical, just like Bo. The armorer responded to the purge by embracing the old ways. Bo responded by holding them in contempt for the role that they played in fracturing Mandalorian society. They both agree about unity. Now that redemption is possible, why *not* send Bo out to recruit? Use Bo to train Din with the Darksaber, teaching him to embrace and step up into the role of Mandalore, and unite the tribes and factions under his rule? I sense things going that way…

I really like that they're showing that the New Republic is far from perfect; in many ways, it has the same problems the Empire and the Old Republic had - the galaxy is simply too big to be run from a centralised location.

Well if you remember in a previous episode, the Armorer melted down the Beskar spear to create Grogu's beskar chainmail because she said Beskar should only be used to protect, not used as a weapon. So it would be very weird if Mandalorians used Beskar weapons to free Moff Gideon. So the shuttle sequence and conclusion doesn't make sense.

Most people in the galaxy would assume that Beskar means Mandalorians are involved, but we know the Empire harvested alot of Beskar and we have seen non Mandalorians with weapons made from Beskar and we have seen people have mandalorian armor that has been stolen or scavanged. So I'm highly doubtfull to it being actual Mandalorians who stoped the transport who held Giddeon

Moff Gideon was taken by Bo Katan's deserters, is my guess, and that will cause a rift between the new Mandalorian state and the New Republic

The Dark Troopers were made of beskar alloy, which is weaker than the pure beskar that the Mandalorian has. That is why Luke can cut them up but Mando can stop the Dark Saber.

or Moff Gideon was taken by Elsbeth whom Ahsoka fought in season 2 who serves Moff Gideon and Thrawn and used a beskar spear similar to the one used before, and the fragment found was from that spear

The Mandalorians who took Moff Gideon must be working for Darth Maul. Don’t forget that Maul took over Mandalore and subjugated it, until the Empire destroyed it. Maul must also be trying to rebuild Mandalore, but under his rule! Maul’s cameo at the end of Solo proves he’s still alive!

If Mando is set after the time of Rebels (which makes sense considering Ahsoka is looking for Thrawn) then Maul is dead - killed by Obiwan on Tatooine (which also happened in Rebels). Solo happened way earlier in the timeline than Rebels did - this is all taking place after RotJ and before TFA.

With regards to the Beskar in the shuttle at the end, one of the things that I noticed a few episodes back is that one of the helmets that they show in the show intro is a Mandalorian helmet in RED. That's a clear sign that there's going to be an evil Mando showing up at some point this season. Said Rando Mando is now pretty clearly working for Gideon (or, even better, Thrawn). That's my take, anyway.

Bo-Katan has seen my new pet, but she has no right to become the leader according to the laws and regulations, because she lacks the darksaber. I think it's good that Bo-Katan should do that, but I don't think it's right because all the episodes and the story up to here him become useless.

It is probably beskar from Gideons horde he hiding somewhere or a piece from Dark Troopers, beskar alloy armored imperial Troopers or mandos aligned with Empire.

Whistling bird projectiles are made from Beskar. It could be the remnants of Bo Katan’s group that left to become mercenaries but regardless the New Republic would probably assume Mandalorian if Beskar was involved, I doubt they know that Gideon plundered Beskar since it’s not something they recovered and it’s not something Bo would have given them when she let them take Gideon.

I think Gideon had beskar stored away somewhere plus probably has some back up Dark Troopers, mandos aligned with Empire or Imperial troops with beskar alloy armor that probably rescued him. Also, it is probably beskar alloy made by the Empire so it is inferior to Mando beskar since Luke was able to tear through the Dark Troopers with ease otherwise it would be more like the fight between Mando and Gideon where the Dark saber didn't cut thru the beskar spear. Empire doesn't have the secret techniques to create true beskar armor.
