I've always felt like Din isn't really trying to lead, he just wants whatever is best for his people so I'm glad they can all start to unite as a people with Bo-Kotan leading the charge alongside Din & the rest of the covert.

It does state in the credits that it was Zeb in the bar voiced by Steve Blum from Rebels. So we got our 1st live action member from Ghost Squad. In the bar was also Dave Filoni, Debrah Chow and Rick Famuyiwa.

I liked the way the Armorer used the analogy of the two different forges, one in Mandalore, large & ornate and the small simple one on Navarro… but both served the same purpose of forging beskar Steele armour. And then introducing Bokatan to the concept of uniting the Mandalorians who don’t necessarily walk the same path… but can serve the same purpose. They don’t necessarily all have to remove their helmets but they can all serve purpose of the reclamation of Mandalore.

I love how this show always manages to give us some surprises. I believe Bo as a leader is not the only reason the Armorer wants her to organize the other Mandalorians. Mike and Jenny, glad to see that sling is gone Jenny, if you remember in season 1 the Armorer mentioned that the Mythosaur would usher in a new age for Mandalore and she believes Bo has seen one.

@Jedi Jive, 19:20 Weren't the Dark Troopers from last season made of Beskar? I recall Din's spear piercing its armor. The New Republic via look would have seized Gideon's ship and all on board. They should know that the Empire had droids made of Beskar too, particularly the guy they had in custody.

Dark Troopers were my thought as well. With all the puzzle pieces in play and the hints that things aren't happening all by coincidence screams Thrawn to me. Using the pirates to destabilize the outer rim planets without exposing the empire is right out of his playbook. I'd even go as far as saying Elia Cain has been reporting to Thrawn even back to her time with Gideon, possibly behind Gideon's back. Not sure how much Gideon knows or is connected to Thrawn. Thrawn maybe Kaizer Soze-ing the Outer Rim. Plus all the Rebels tie-ins- Pergil, Zeb, etc.

I think the Mando who liberated Gideon hasn't been seen yet but it has been teased since the beginning of the season that there's gonna be a Mandalorian villain! In the opening credits where you see the helmets in blue for the heroes and red for the villains you see a Mando helmet in red at the end of the sequence. What's the chances that it could be the Imperial Super Commandos from Rebels? We've already seen the Purrgil and now Zeb (confirmed) so it's not unreasonable to think we'll see them before seeing Sabine in the lead up to Ahsoka. The next three episodes are gonna be interesting!

Is it just me or did Din upgrade the cannons on the N1?? Those things hit WAY harder than the episode 1 N1 fighters. The grapple chest punch was such a badass move and the whole taking back Navarro scene was amazing

They are the same actually......guess I just forgot they have such beefy main cannons. For a peaceful planet they didn't mess around with giving those things massive fire power

They did make a point and episode 1 for Bo Katan dimension that her former allies are now mercenaries. So evidently someone such as Thrawn hired them to jailbreak Moff. This would also explain how the tie fighter squadron knew exactly where to find Bo Katan.

More great storytelling. They have moved the narrative forward, mostly by giving the Mandalorian covert something to lose - a home in the sun, and the possibility of retaking their home planet with its resident monster! But there are other Mandalorians running around on the loose, with no one clearly in charge. Can Bo pull them together? Or will the split prove insurmountable? Great episode! I look forward to the next chapter.

Okay, I won't tell you but it's Zeb. Not into the animated stuff but hearing others I found liking seeing him during the second watch so cool. I believe you're thinking of Axl. My first thought with Gideon is that Thrawn is doing a frame job on the Mandalorians, maybe to keep them from forming into one.

If he knows there's more Gorians out in the galaxy, that would explain why he was so willing to go down with his ship rather than trying to run.

It's not about the Dark Saber....It pales in comparison to a Mythosaur! The Mythosaur is THE SYMBOL OF ALL MANDA'LOR! Din will keep the Dark Saber. Listen to this. Bo-Katan will lose the rest of that Nightowl armor. She will join clan mudhorn. Her new armor is chrome themed so far. One who wields the Dark Saber, One who rides the Mythosaur and One who wields the Force. This is clan Mudhorn.

Mandos vs Pirate ground troops looked goofy af for some reason. The sound design weird for the street fights and the costomes looked like bad cosplay. Also Nevarro has apprently just 25 citizens...I guess all the budget was spend on Zeb^^

Not to blow your minds, but uniting them won't be as easy as we think cause they are fragmented, and some are loyal to Republic, while others are loyal to Imps. I expect the next episode will show a battle on Mandalore, and somebody will indeed ride the mythosaur. BUT...I saw Zeb in there, I'm believing Carson Teva is not gonna let this extraction of Moff Gideon go. He will seek out Leia Organa, and with the appearence of Zeb, I'm anticipating the finale will include the battle of Bilbringi, where we see Asoka Tano, Ezra Briger, Hera Sandula and Sabine Wren, as well as Thrawn. Thrawn dies in this battle and This will open the door to Moff Gideon to seed the First Order.

What if that beskar alloy is a plant? To make it look like the Mandalorians are helping Moff Gideon escape. Now, the New Republic knows of the Children of the Watch. There’s a possibility that the known Mandalorians will be hunted. And Bo was just sent out in an errand to reunite the other Mandalorian clans. This is a frame job.
