Jack with that new boiler you won’t be saying no to any scraps!!! I have quite a few customers that ask for gum. At 20 million BTUs it heats like cherry. I find it leaves a little more ash, but a solid option nonetheless…. As long as you have a hydraulic splitter 😂
@LogCabinFirewood2 ай бұрын
Yeah i definitely need to start saving all my scraps, I just have to figure out a storage solution for them!!!! I don't mind the gum either, I've burned a bunch of it since heating with wood!!! Thanks brother ✌️

@@LogCabinFirewood I don’t know a single boiler burner that gets ahead with firewood after about 5-10 years lol. They all start with good intentions of burning seasoned wood (maybe Dan at back40 is the only one I know that gets ahead.) all my guys cut hunks off of fresh delivered log piles and lob them in dripping wet lol
@LogCabinFirewood2 ай бұрын
Anything burns , it's just a matter of how much you want to clean. Gasification stoves don't do very well with wet wood. They're like pre Madonna bishes 🤣

Hey Jack. aren't you worried that someone could get your wood for free being so close to the road? Good days work and the stash wins for me - I can't grow a beard. Sent an email about a month ago about some stickers - not begging - just wondering if still possible. Stay safe.
@LogCabinFirewood2 ай бұрын
My roadside stand is closer to the road, with cashbox than my rows of wood. I'd go after it before a pile of wood 😜 I also live where honest folk still live though too🤷♂️ My bad on the stickers, I've literally been working 80 and 80 the past few weeks and just slipped my mind. I'll try and do better and get ya some soon!!! Thanks.
@robert.brokaw38292 ай бұрын
@@LogCabinFirewood No worries on the stickers - forgot about all that you do with regular work and YT. I can say the same about the people in my area but I do live close to Memphis and that's a whole other story. Again Thanks and stay safe.
