I just picked up a 2024 Heritage and I have to say mine is close to perfect the panel gaps are flawless. The build quality is great. Quiet as a mouse no rattles or squeaks everything as it should be so glad I waited till they worked the bugs out.

Dont want to stir more issues but keep an eye on the the portion of the doors where they meet the lower part of the body. Take a look on the inside bottom of the doors for chipping pain its unfortunately a thing

Yep that is happening on mine. Luckily it is aluminum on aluminum so no chance of rust.

@@broncobebop my main complaints have come from routine items I had on previous new vehicles, like hood insulation, hood struts, engine covers and door sill protectors!

Mine came from the factory with massive & weird gaps in panel seams.

My passenger door is not aligned with the body line so it looks like it’s open.

We have had the same problems the whole right side panels were not aligned and the door was set in to tight had the slam it to make the window work .. they did fix it but it took two trips .. both bumpers were uneven also

I already had my front bumper off. Those flaps dont stick out for me. Foot well, thats a Karen complaint, unless you wear mirrored shoes. My panel gaps are fine, exept the plastic panels by the tail light. Popped it off and adjusted with 1 bolt. I think my boggest beef is the lack of any sound proofing around the sub woofer on the B&O / Lux package. Overall the premium sound package is fat from premium.

I might be nitpicking on the footwell panels, but we've got an older Ford focus that cost a fraction of the Bronco, that was worthy of them, so it bugs me a bit. I agree with the sound system. I don't think my wife minds it, but I've been spoiled with better systems...

Par for the course on these unfortunately. Passenger door, hood, tailgate and windshield are crooked on mine. Also have several pretty obvious paint defects. It’s really sad that they designed such a cool vehicle to be butchered on the assembly line.

2023 wildtrack.. i was putting overlays on the B pillar between the front and rear window. I couldnt understand why the driverside looked crooked. The gasket on thr drivers front dont match up with the rear, the rear is abiut 1/4 " lower. Passanger side is fine. .now i have to keep looking. Oh , anyone else have a pre collision avoidace system that dont seem to work?

Come on now. Some of it I get but some of it is ridiculous. I say that because the higher the quality control the higher the cost. The one reason airplanes and airplane parts cost so much is the amount of quality control to make a perfect product. Airplane parts have to be perfect because people’s lives are more at stake. I worked in several manufacturing plants. They plan on a certain amount of products coming off the line to “fail” and not meet a certain level of quality control. When parts that don’t rely on safety are concerned, a balance has to be met. If half the products that come off the line fail, that increases cost. Yet, to increase the quality coming off the line also increases cost. Therefore a balance has to be made. Ford could hand build Broncos just like Rolls Royce and Bentley build card by hand, and the quality would probably triple. Yet the price would triple as well. Precession made parts that meet very strict toleration specs cost more than those that have looser specs. However, some of the items that you point out, not all of them should be taken into your ford dealer and pointed out and can be corrected under warranty at your ford dealer.

Aha; I see you took my advice and looked above the glove box. 🙂 I'm thinking only '21s got those lower covers - I've looked even on some '22 OBX and Badlands models; no dice. Ironically enough, I did just install the covers I sourced with FordPass points last night... Footwell covers don't bother me as it's one less PITA thing to get in the way of me working with the AUX wiring runs, changing cabin air filter, servicing blower motor, etc. Gonna have to look again at my hood though. I definitely notice the passenger side near the trail sight is a little lower than the driver's side but is NOT dented. Not sure how I could resolve this...

My '21 Big Bend was #626 off the line (last 5 digits of vin) and it does not have the bolt covers.

Sometimes my door won't unlock when I pull the handle (and I am touching the button on the handle) then I need to use the keyfob to unlock the doors and after i start it and start to drive off I get a message no keyfob detected, if that's the case why did it start at all, other then that alls good.

no lighting in passenger glove/storage compartment when opened is criminal. i'd rather have that over cheesy ambient lighting in the footwells.

@@broncobebop it seems that way, until you realize it has integrated led lighting in the visor vanity mirror! this car is just full of weird compromises and corner cutting, yet charming enough to make me overlook them all.
