When you break up and have a dog with your partner, you know that the dog goes to whoever the dog is closest to. You both know which one is the dog’s “person” and you let them have it.

I fully agree with this. Like how about just don't be selfish and do what's best for the dog lol

I’m a woman and I sweat more than a lot of men. It’s propaganda that women don’t sweat as much. I literally get soaked for just a 5K. This person doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I sweat even running in the winter. I think it’s misogynist to claim that women don’t sweat as much. It’s just not true. Btw, if you sweat, that’s your body regulating temperature well. The more you sweat, the cooler you will become. People who can’t sweat because of a genetic defect have to worry about overheating because they can’t sweat. Similar to how dogs can’t sweat and overheat more easily.

Video chatting is definitely cheating. You are interacting with a person. Whereas watching porn is not cheating. Though, if it’s excessive, it could be detrimental to a relationship. Sometimes it’s helpful to show people what you like.

Athletes sweat sooner and more readily than unfit people. Healthy fit people have more muscle and muscle contains more heat than fat. I have been an avid runner and athlete my entire life. Fit athletes sweat more because they need to. They generate more heat and have to produce more sweat in order to maximize their evaporative cooling capacity. When my boyfriend and I went to run the bridge, he commented on how much I sweat. I am in way better condition and shape than he is. I am lean and very toned. He doesn’t have muscle definition. I sweat more when exercising, and when I’m in the sun. He sweats standing in the house doing nothing, I would never sweat standing in the house doing nothing unless I was severely ill. So it just depends on your body composition. How fit you are, and how acclimated you are to the temperature.

Absolutely no co-parenting a dog. And, the dog should go to the person whose lifestyle is more conducive to taking care of it. Law student vs. touring musician? I think we know the answer.

When ppl are weird & defensive about “woke” concerns, it’s the equivalent of being mad at the messenger. The whole point is to broaden the conversation and invite reflection on how things are now vs how much better it can be!

I dated a man once who I thought was secretly bi. I am bisexual, and kind of obsessed with truth and authenticity- so, it really started to bother me. I did find out he cheated on me, multiple times, with women. And that he had a serious sex addiction. I ended up breaking up with him after I found him cheating for the 6th time. 🤦🏼‍♀️ So, idk. He never rejected me, because he was an addict. But, I have been with a guy who I felt constantly rejected by and it was NOT good for my self image, I would tell that girl to get out.

I was in a relationship with a guy who made it a point to tell me numerous times that he has never masturbated. I find that really hard to believe since I would see on his phone that he would watch over 500 videos of porn a day and this was all while he was at work or in the parking lot at the grocery store… Whenever he was not around me. Guy watches porn and doesn’t masturbate. I could never figure out why he had the obsession with claiming that he had never masturbated. Perhaps it’s true, But it just seems odd to me. He did always want sex 24/7.

Not to state the obvious but some people do value their pets like children. Natasha clearly doesnt bond with animals in that way which is totally fine but like...lets not act like a dog doesnt have feelings or attachment. I would say this girl needs to not be selfish and do whats best for the dog. Like someone else said, she knows who the dog is more attached to and that is the person it should be with regardless of how she feels about it. This is an assumption but I would be willing to bet that if you guys took a pole of your audience to see who prefers dogs or children, dogs would win so you might want to watch how much you minimize their intelligence and capacity to feel/love.

When I was 24, I broke up with my ex of 4 years. We “co parented” the dog for like 10 months (?? I think??) and we only saw each other like once in that 10 months. 1) while 24-25 , I was still too young to be tied down like that to a dog that needs lots of attention 2) I kept a key to the old apartment and would just do the exchange while he was at work 3) we switched like every week IIRC, so we had our weeks off to travel, go out, go on dates etc I’m 100% my dog’s person. She picked me at the pound AND I was the primary name on all the paperwork AND we had a relationship clause that I would get the dog if he ever cheated. So by like month 10, I was over the swaps and just stopped giving her back 🤷🏻‍♀️ he tried to start shit and make it and thing and tried to bring my brother into it but everyone knows she’s my dog. He’s married now so hopefully he’s over it

I just got out of a 4 1/2 year relationship. I was also blindsided by the break up. My advice to the girl with the dog dilemma, move out of Detroit! Do not coparent the dog with your ex. You will just prolong the healing process. Move on. He has.

i have a feeling that the "too woke" brother probably just said something simple like "hey, can you maybe not say slurs please" or something like that, considering the fact that the only people that have ever gotten that mad at me for being "too woke" were horrible bigots that i politely asked not to say bigot shit around me.
