What would happen to humanity if generosity went viral? Sharing transformative stories from around the world, head of TED Chris Anderson outlines why the time has come for the internet to realize its power to supercharge small acts of kindness, changing lives at a scale never experienced before. Learn how to cultivate a generous mindset - with or without giving money - and get inspired with tools to amplify your impact. "Be brave. Give what you can, and then be absolutely amazed at what happens next," Anderson says.

the more common type of generosity we know is given coming from place of Success, bounty, or victory. we can call it a sharing of blessings or paying it forward. and that is already great in itself. but it when we gjve and practice generosity coming from a not so good phase in life, or when we are still able share something to others may it be in material form, servitude, or just sharing our time and presence while we are also going through our own struggles in life-- that is no longer just generosity... that is also love that we are sharing. there may be countless of unsung and unrecognized acts of love and genorisity. it creates an endless ripple touching lives ltranscending distance, space, and time. life is already difficult, why not make the conscious effort to make it a bit less difficult for one anotner. this talk is the highlight of my day today. sending Love to everyone!

Here in Brazil, its curious, but the most generous are the poorest, they share what they have, even when they have nothing. Helping people in the streets is very rewarding.

The TED Talk provided a thought-provoking insight into the impact of infectious generosity. It highlighted real-life examples, like the 'Kindness Pandemic' and Amy Wolf's initiatives, showcasing how small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect. I appreciated the emphasis on emotional, creative, and courageous elements as drivers for positive change. It's inspiring to see how individuals like MrBeast and movements like Giving Tuesday leverage social media for philanthropy. I share the speaker's belief in the power of generosity. The idea of 'journey mates' being meaning and happiness is a beautiful concept, and it motivates me to embrace a more generous mindset in my daily life. Overall, a compelling talk that encourages us to contribute to a more compassionate world. Well done!

I clicked on this video because I saw it and thought "isn't that just what Mr. Beast does every time he makes a video?" It was a cheeky joke, and 100% I was not expecting this. I thought it was gonna be some experiment or thoughtful idea. I didn't even imagine that there was this. I actually watch most of the creators in this video. I LOVE watching generosity and frequently wish that I could be that generous. I am almost crying. Then I was thinking - no I have been generous before. I have given food and money to the homeless when I was dead broke. The number one reason I give to the customer service jobs I apply to for applying is "I want to help people and make them happy." I do think tho, that it would be amazing if I could come up with something grander than the little things like these other people

Little interactions count. You never know who's life you affected with your kindness. Also, those people are more likely to be kind to someone else because of your modeling. It is very grand indeed. Fame and volume feeds ego, but interpersonal exchanges feed the world. Keep going! We need you!!!!!

Inspiring yes, but I personally, given my situation, criminal case and circumstances am not in a safe space or place to put myself out there in the world like that, not on a grand scale, I do small things for people when I am out and about. God bless the creators of Ted and Tedx, the videos the majority of the time are very helpful, inclusive and kind. Thanks. 😇🙏👊👍💜

There is kindness with the average person, the problem is the lack of it at the top who's empathy is insulated by the bubble of money they were born into. Of course they are the ones who's kindness could have the largest effect....

He talks of generosity being spread like a virus. He seems to ignore or downplay detractors and blockers. His motive seems genuine but the talk sounds like a motivational speaker failing to prepare people for pushback and problems. Just ignore it, is not an answer that works for people. When people try and run into difficulty, they think they are the problem. Is it any wonder they lose hope in their attempts.
