It's Time To Come Home and Stop Running From God : God’s Message to You

Have you been running from God ? Do you long to come home, but worry that He won't forgive you or accept you?
Asking this question - will God forgive me for my sins?
You can never go too far to be able to experience God's forgiveness or to pray a prayer for forgiveness of sins.
The words in this stop running from God sermon from God's heart were inspired by the words of the Bible and share the heart of God the Father for you:
My child.
I see all. I know all.
Nothing is hidden from me.
I know everything about you, inside and out.
I hear every unspoken prayer.
Even before you speak it, I feel your pain.
I see the dark places you run to, feel the emptiness and longing in your heart.
I know your hurt and your shame.
I know how far and how long you’ve been running from me, yet I love you still.Each step of your journey, I’ve been with you, whispering to you of my love.
Since time itself began I’ve dreamt dreams of you and all that you could become.
I was there when you took your first steps, there when you spoke your first word, there as you grew from childhood to adulthood.
And I was there, when you sought to hide from my love.
I watched as you ran from Me, sought refuge in this world and it’s pleasures, tried to numb the pain.
This world promised much and failed to deliver.
The storms that surround you may seem overwhelming.
Your sin may feel unforgivable and your pain unfathomable.
The regrets impossible to overcome.
I long to still the storm and bring peace to your heart.
I’m waiting for you. I’ve always been waiting.
I will always be waiting for you.
It’s time to stop running, time to put it all behind you and let go of it all.
Take a moment.
Bow your head in silence.
Acknowledge me as your Lord and King.
It’s time to change direction.
To turn from all that’s past,
And turn back to me.
So, let go of … the pain.
The shame.
The hurts and disappointments.
The failures and the regrets.
Let go, let it all go!
Release the ones who’ve failed you, hurt you, caused you pain. The ones who’ve hurt you with their words, their actions or their inaction.
Stop holding them captive.
Let them go - it’s time to set yourself free!
It’s time to come home. Come home to me.
To whisper your ‘yes’ to me. To learn to trust me.
I’m the One who can make it all alright.
The One who can forgive your deepest secrets.
The One who will help you overcome your hidden fears and conquer your darkest thoughts.
The One who knows your hidden longings and desires.
The One who encourages and empowers, refreshes and renews.
The One who brings life.My child, I long to embrace you, to hold you close and whisper the words you long to hear.
Come home. Run into my arms.
Come and bathe in my love.
Come and swim in my ocean of grace.
Make me your refuge,
Your hiding place,
Your safe harbour in every storm.
It’s time to stop running.
It’s time to come home.It’s time to dream new dreams,
To embrace your destiny.
Enter into all that you are and can be.
You’re not no-one.
You’re someone.
A child of the King.
It’s time to stand tall and walk with your head held high.
