I planted my silver dollar hydrangeas about six weeks ago, I’m in South Georgia zone 8b I believe, it’s been hot lately and my shrubs are not looking their best is it too early to fertilize?

Jesus…lots of snail shells. Those slimy snails are very hard to smash and kill once out of there shell

I am going to splurge and get some Dairy Doo. I have been buying some generic brand at Meijer because I am on a budget. I need money to at least buy 6 more hydrangeas this year and the rest of my annuals😂 will work at Green house for 🌺. Lol

Is 19-19-19 good for Hydrangeas? I have this fertilizer so could use it

Those numbers are pretty high for general fertilizing. You’ll need to be very careful how you use it. It’s a little less risky if it’s time-release… but It could be very easy to “burn” your plant. I don’t usually recommend going over 10-10-10 for general use unless you know the right amount to apply or have a specific reason for choosing that fertilizer.

Are those Bobos. They look a bit bare. My quick Fire Fab, magical candle, limelight and quick fire fabs are taking off with the leaves. The Bobos seem a bit behind.

We haven’t had that problem with the Proven Winners, First Editions, or Endless Summer varieties.
