The scattershield is literally a lifesaver. Many yrs ago in high school my buddy had a beautiful 65 Plymouth, 440 2x4, hemi 4spd, Dana rear but he used the factory aluminum bell housing. Street racing one night on Belt Pkwy service Rd (it was the 70's) I was at the starting line when he launched the flywheel broke and most of the clutch asm, flywheel and chunks of aluminum came up through the floor permanently injuring his and his girlfriend's legs, took out the dash, windshield and peeled back the roof. He lost part of the calf muscle in his right leg, her left leg leg is ok but badly scarred. I never ran a car without a shield, even a daily driver since. Yes we stay in touch and they have two great kids, one of races super comp dragsters.

Great choice on the QT BH, I've got one in my 98 for since 09. My stock one had 2 dog ears broken off and well, if you gotta buy one can't go wrong with the QT.

Having “Feet” is recommended! I saw a clutch explosion at the track a few years ago, watching the EMT’s trying to pack “Toes” into cups of ice from the concession stands tends to make you a believer in the SFI scatter shields! 👍👍👍

Couple questions: 1, are you married? Because thought my wife and I are doing pretty well financially and she rarely complains about my spending habits (actually never) I have a feeling if I bouight that new steering wheel you just did to replace a perfectly fine ne n my suburban, that might raise a few eye brows. That new wheel is so much better than the stock one and you really have me licking my chops over that thing. And 2nd question, you are fairly young and have a tremendous amount of mechanical knowledge... where did you learn all you know about cars, trannys, engines and what not at your young age? I love your videos on the tahoe. Im a little late to the game though. It is Almost April of 2021... are you even still making Tahoe videos?
