You shouldn't say Rocksteady treated Arkham Origins badly, when it's actually under WB Games Montreal. Rocksteady actually went out of their way to support it in its game development, they gave away all of the combat, predator and traversal mechanics of Arkham City to WB Games Montreal, they also made sure to include some references and the main suit from Arkham Origins in Arkham Knight to make it officially canon in the Arkham timeline. It's not Rocksteady's fault that WB has chosen to ignore Arkham Origins whenever they've done a remaster or re-release of the Arkham games because Rocksteady was not even involved in those re-releases. Those releases are done by Virtuos Studios for Return to Arkham and Turn Me Up Games for the Nintendo Switch re-release, they chose to ignore Arkham Origins on the collection, pretty sure on the directions of WB because they can't just make one without their permission on it. I hate how Rocksteady has treated origins, people have found out recently that is actually good. They have been begging for what feels like a year now for a remaster, Rocksteady hasn't given them an answer, and they have been hiding the from half of the Arkham fanbase. Anyone on PlayStation is screwed, they put this game ( which was released a not even a month before the ps4 ) in the "classics catalog" which is full of ps2 games. You need to 18 extra dollars to play it with the ps5. Considering the ps5 is about $650, its $668 just to an extremely laggy Verizon of the game. If you have bad internet, the screen will literally look like the fake crash from AA.

Bro, I TOTALLY agree. Now would be a perfect time to remaster Arkham Origins. I been saying this since BEFORE the massive flop that is Suicide Squad. And I just wanted to point out that there are actually 5 Arkham games because I just recently learned that Arkham Origins has an official sequel: Arkham Origins: Blackgate. I'm a huge fan of the series and I am SHOCKED that I haven't even seen or played Blackgate. It is now DEFINITELY on my "must-play" list. I gotta say though, when Arkham Origins finally gets it's remaster, I HOPE it is released along with Arkham Origins: Blackgate. THAT would be a great move on WB's part. I’ve heard there might be some legal issues with some elements of the game and combined that with the fact that, even though Arkham origins is a masterpiece, the game is very buggy and seen as hit or miss by the general gaming community they might not see it as financially worth it. Although honestly they really should look into remastering the game in some form. Especially since Arkham shadow is releasing next month and it is a sequel to the events of Arkham origins

As others have said this was made by Camoflaj not rocksteady, its relevant because they are a VR games company so they were not going to make anything else except a VR game. Rockstar was busy creating a live service looter shooter at the time while these guys were making a true Arkham game.

WB seem to be weirdly all in on live service for some reason despite them all failing and Harry Potter doing great. Rocksteady have lost most of their original members and are having massive layoffs, they might not recover. Sony seems to have basically abandoned PSVR 2 They have all had opportunities to do the games most people wanted but failed Meta is the only one actually pushing VR and by extension Arkham forward but yes obviously they want to push their own ecosystem as annoying as that is for accessibility.

Batman arkham shadow is made by camouflage studios not Rocksteady. Camouflage is a studio that makes vr games, I know it's a LOT for the meta quest 3 or 3s. But Rocksteady is working on a flat screen arkham batman game so you could get excited for that. Also I do think that arkham origins should get a remaster.

Is not that Rocksteady doesn’t want you to know about origins, the reason asylum and city got remastered because they are developed by RS themselves, now with Arkham trilogy in nintendo is save to say the same to remaster a game that has a beginning, middle and end while origins is a prequel wich is not the same to say it is a beginning and yes just to keep the franchise longer, if knight was the third game to end the franchise while ps4 and Xbox one wasn’t released Batman Arkham games would never have amazing graphics comparing to other good graphics games. That’s is called Arkham origins because it’s a game that has no reason to mention Arkham something which will be the same thing with Arkham shadow because the asylum isn’t built yet. So that’s why asylum, city and knight gets more attention than Arkham what exactly ? The worst visual (not the graphics, but the lighting and artistic direction which is very inconsistent) The worst gameplay (the news gadgets, the electric gloves,...) The game just needs a remaster, yeah. Personally I would love a remake, but it would have to be handled with a lot of tact and care. I actually have ideas on how I’d personally remake all of the Arkham Games, but that’s worthy of an essay and not a YT comment. I honestly don’t blame Rocksteady because the Easter Eggs in Knight really made it seem like they understood and liked the game. My take? It’s not Rocksteady or Montreal. Those are subsidiaries. It’s WB. Look at the DCEU for 2 seconds and you can see how the same company would make the same mistake. It is so weird to be seeing people go “Only recently are people realizing it’s good.” There was an entire subset of fans crying out against AO not being included in 2016. The Completionist ranked it the highest out of every Arkham Game. People have liked it for a long time. That being said… I get the sentiment. There’s some fans on release of it that have a TON of City bias and peeps who talk garbage about the game so much it’s so confusing to deal with. But frick it m, I like being positive so Arkham Origins is my favorite Arkham Game. I’d *would* argue it to be more objectively the best game but I’m not going to because YT comments. I love the boss fight, the story is one of the greatest highlights, it has an amazing DLC, (that I never got to play 😢) it has the best enemy variety out of all the games, and it’s the only game which actually bothered to expand Gotham’s map instead of cutting you off from previous locations like Arkham Knight. (And arguably city, but… eh. The plot didn’t really allow that possibility anyway, so I give a pass) Anyway, have a good day and which is your favorite?

@@KonBon69yeah i know WB Montreal made it but rocksteady acknowledges the game is canon to their series. And they’re both subsidiaries of WB games so it wouldn’t be an issue for them to put it along the Asylum and City Remasters at all.

I actually bought a $1100 laptop (I am an Apple guy) just to play this game (on steam) I had it on ps3 but I don’t have it anymore and ps5 refuses to let me play games I bought on ps3
