we were strictly a golden retriever family because we had little kids and I wanted a breed I never had to think about being around kids of ours or others, but we’re now on our 2nd lab, and are hooked. without a doubt our favorite breed. DO NOT expect any concept of personal space though. you think it’s crowded now, you’ve seen nothing yet.
