It took 4 DAYS to make this Epic Gingerbread House! | Unique Gingerbread Greenhouse & Baking Hacks

In this video I will show you step by step how I constructed and assembled my gingerbread house. This year I chose to make a gingerbread greenhouse because I have been dreaming of having a garden one day. I will show you from start to finish how I construct, cut, bake, assemble and decorate my gingerbread house. I used royal icing to make lace details, fondant for the plants and waffle cones for the trees. I give lots of tips and hacks on how to nail it every time, as well as an exciting new hack for the gingerbread house windows. Thanks for watching!

Everything I use to film:
While I am on the go, I film with my iPhone 11 Pro Max on the Dji Mobile Osmo 3. This allows me to get super smooth shots. I combine that with the either the Saramonic lavalier mic or Rhode mic and use a mount to attach it to the gimbal.

When I film at my apartment, I use my iPhone Pro Max as the main camera and my Canon 6D with the 24-105 f/4 lens for B-roll and photos. For the overhead shots, I use an overhead camera rig to mount my Canon 6D and connect a camera monitor so I can view the shot. And when my camera is set up on the ground, I use a quick release tripod. For lighting, I use the Neewer ring light and for audio, the Saramonic lavalier mic or Rhode mic (Linked Above).

I have a video of how I made the gingerbread recipe for this house as well as my past creations is linked in the description of this video 😊 It has never failed me! Even with the walls being very thin and most of it cut out, I was never worried about it.

It was firm and did not spread for me! I also give some helpful tips in the video to prevent these things. Like put the cut dough in the freezer for a few minutes before baking to insure that the edges stay crisp 🥰

Who knew they made gelatin sheets like that? The delicate fretwork on the top of the greenhouse is just the "icing" on the top to your creation. A wonderful decorative touch. I promised to make a gingerbread house for my sister's church Xmas fundraiser. While scrolling for a design, I came across your video and I absolutely LOVE the idea of the greenhouse. At first glance, I figured that you used Isomalt for the windows but the gelatin sheets are an amazing idea and so much easier, not to mention I happend to have a lot of it. I make mine out of cardboard and puff paint. Then I box them up every year and put them out year after year. Balsa wood works well too

Absolutely stunning. I just baked the gingerbread, will do the windows with my 10year old tonight. I thought I'd start early because if it took you 4 days it will take me a month 🤣 your dough recipe worked very well for me and the templates seemed daunting at first but I figured it out. One thing I did do, though, because I'm not going to eat it was to laminate the templates with sticky tape (so I can use them again in case I mess up) and used a Stanley knife to cut the windows, it worked wonders! Any chance of you teaching us how to make the frosting from scratch? Ty much for sharing this, it's like everyone said, genius! You are one skilled girl.
