I think it's virtually impossible for him to be equally invested in every actor/movie he has to interview for, but at least he makes the conversation relaxed enough that the questions don't feel as artificial.

She's hilarious, and definitely has the right attitude when it comes to accents. If you don't naturally have a specific accent, trying to seriously play a character who has said accent is very, very likely to backfire on you, but a character that the audience know is faking that accent anyway, that works.

I was going to say Tom Holland might be the exception to the rule, but I think at this point Tom isn't so much doing an American accent, he's just doing his "Tom Holland not being a british character" accent.

@@layne721 Nah, Tom Holland isn't just doing an American accent or even a New York accent - even New Yorkers say its a Queens accent. For another example, the creator of House said he absolutely ould not hire a Brit to play House, it had to be an American, and Hugh Lauries American accent was so good that he didn't realise he'd hired a Brit until halfway through production on the first season. And, in all fairness to Hathaway, her 'British' accent would fit right in on Absolutely Fabulous (British 90s sitcom)

That thing where Meryl Streep would be so warm and loving and blonde and then icy, cold distant when she emerged as Miranda is an acting technique, I believe. I think she got into her "Miranda zone" and she would not break character until after filming. Well, it's obviously very effective. She's a legendary actress.

I mean she started at Disney, 4 years later she started challenging herself in serious roles like Brokeback mountain and later Rachel getting married (which got her an Oscar nomination and well-deservedly). When she was in Les Mis I knew right away she would won the Oscar, I was like 110% sure and she did!

Anne is my fave actress. She was the first actress I immediately just liked after seeing Princess Diaries I couldn’t wait to see what she would be in next. When she on the shortlist of actresses for The Dark Knight Rises I actually prayed she got the role. I didn’t mind what the role was I was just excited to see her in a superhero movie. When it was revealed to be Catwoman I just cheered and jumped with excitement to find out she had the role. Her role as Fantine really made me cry and you can see the pain and agony while she sang I Dreamed a Dream. She deserved that Oscar. Anne Hathaway really did embrace the diva side of her personality for Daphne Kluger in Oceans 8. She made me laugh and she looked absolutely stunning. Can’t wait to see her villainous turn as The Grand High Witch in The Witches.
