You can’t expect much from the internet because some people go out of their way to be absolute bitches, but I agree. Also to some people out there, just because the VA did something wrong doesn’t mean that the character did something wrong. We should welcome the new VA because it will probably be tough for them to know what kind of person their predecessor was. I hope that they can fit in with the others and have a sense of home here.

i’m glad a lot of the fanbase has collectively decided to leave tighnari out of the discussion when it comes to recent events. Granted i know it’s especially difficult for not only SA victims that found comfort with tighnari but *especially* the victims of elliot’s abuse. I don’t think anyone else will be able to understand their perspective and just how much worse it feels. If we can do that i’m sure everyone will be happy to receive his new VA, especially if it means not hearing Elliot’s voice anymore

You, like everybody else, trusted him and thought he was a good guy bc why wouldn't you. Nobody is ever expecting this level of betrayal. It's very easy to blame yourself for things that aren't your fault. It's very hard to be okay with the feeling that you Could've done something to help and it would've been so important for you to have done something to help. That's really such a hard pill to swallow: you couldn't make actions against something you didn't know about. Abusers can be ridiculous adept in their ability to hide that side of themselves. There's making videos about how to spot red flags in abusers, there's offering the victims understanding and a safe place, there's bringing attention to their cause and seeking justice, or starting a crowd funding to provide these and other victims of grooming with therapy. Praying is not the only thing.

I hope the person that takes over the mantle of Tighnari's English VA is a much better person, and I hope that they can fit in with the rest of the Sumeru squad. What Elliot did was unforgivable and I hope that the victims, other voice actors, and Genshin community as a whole can recover from this stain. I'm glad to be able to mentally separate the VA from the character and being able to return to English after playing in Chinese for a day (I now don't feel comfortable without a voiceover I understand) and I'm happy that I mostly play Tighnari in my alt (he's basically the strongest DPS there for now) and on my main I don't play hik much since I only recently got him and haven't levelled him much yet (still planning to, he's a good character both gameplaywise and storywise). It makes me so sad that so many people can't enjoy playing him because of the VA and I feel so bad for the victims, for them it must be especially bad and I hope they can recover. I wish he was made to pay for therapy for all of his victims.

Random but useful info to deal with kidney stones: Get a Pineapple. Cut the Pineapple in half. Before going to sleep, make juice with one half of the fruit and drink it. The next morning, make another juice with the half that was left over and drink it before you eat or drink anyrhing. Do this for, like, 3 or so days straight and you should be good. Glad to hear from you man. I don't normally comment but I just wanted to say I'm glad ur getting better.

Hey Cy Yu. Glad you passed the kidney stone. ❤ I really hope they break down before moving out. I’m a veteran lol. I’ve been plagued with stones for 8 years, plagued as in I have them daily. (Ruined life, caused kidney failure, they are dangerous) If/when you go into the ER for it, ask for Dilaudid for the pain and Flomax to help pass them faster. These two work great for them. Toradol can help sometimes too, depending on the size of the stone. Oh, cranberry juice will also help them break down. As for Elliot, it’s just disgusting, so very disgusting. And he’s still doing it even after coming clean about it. As some who has been SA many times before, I truly hope he will be dealing with the law now.

Cy Yu, take all the time you need to be careful and safe when it comes to being rid of the kidney stones. All the best throughout. I remember when my mom had pass a kidney stone, some years ago. I don't remember how big it was, but I remember she was in so much pain that she couldn't sleep at all during one particular night. :( The whole Elliot drama is not at all your fault! A lot of us were taken back and disgusted over what had been exposed about him. We've all been had and betrayed by the sack of shit. Karma is going to hit him super hard once he doesn't have anyone to harass and harm at all. (I hope all those who were abused by him are recovering and doing well.)

The last few days I felt nothing but rage for this one horrible person... I never felt SO MUCH hate and anger for someone I don't know. I hope this situation will end soon and we can all enough games and life again. And I hope the new VA will be a nice and friendly guy. And, like everyone said, You don't need to apologies because how should you have known it? Nobody knew it. We all need to stay strong together in this situation, stick together and support each other. And I hope you will pass your kidney stone problem soon. I'm also very sorry that you had to deal with that terrible issue with your "friend" even after being at the hospital and so on, its disgusting for him to bring your name in this mess even when you were already suffering with your health, its so very sad. You don't need to apologize though, it is sad with how things went for those victims but just know that you had nothing to do with this and that HE wanted to create more excuses, more lies, and more traps for those poor victims. No one knew this was going to happen until they saw the tweets. I hope you do well and that everyone in the community will soon recover from this horrible mess.
