There were models with a MG for the commanders seat in ArmA 2 definetely, not sure if I saw one in ArmA 3 yet. Maybe with Mods but usually they don't get MGs. Atleast this Bradley did not have one.

That was one of the most intense of your videos that I've seen so far....RPGs flying left, right, and centre, not a one hitting...was sure you'd be hit by one sooner or later. The lone infantryman that you were covering before the flight through the trees, that was HQ, no? Felt saddened when his marker stopped moving whilst you were trying to break free of the woods, after the lengths you went to trying to keep him alive. And then that T-72 (identified it correctly?) just before the end at the armour depot, I thought that *that* was going to finally be what ended you...nope, TOW it in the face on the fly, attack the depot, and drive the fuck away as fast as possible...damn...was totally awesome.

That was so intense! And i mean yeah the gunner did mess up about the BMP but he shaped up after it, even spotting some targets before you. So i guess you can give him a little bit of slack? Other than that... 10/10, mission is success? lol

From time to time, if people won't do what you tell them when you tell them you need to give them a bit of a wake-up call. From personal experience I can tell that you feel quite ashamed to have disappointed your Squad Lead and if you really mean to give it your best, you'll live up or even exceed ones expectations from you. I think this is what happened here - after Dslyecxi told him to fucking wake up he got his focus again, listened to every command (even though I noticed some moments in the video where he was again not looking where Dslyecxi told him to) and generally did a fairly nice job keeping the Bradley alive afterwards.

Hey, making it out alive in this mission is pretty impressive. Even more so when its a vehicle and crew. With that in mind, the crew did much better than expected. Next time, remember to pack away a spare satchel in the Sabres ;D

They had quite some time pressure because there was a tank behind them that didn't go down after taking a tow and about 20 AP rounds and several RPGs constantly shooting at them. They wouldn't have had the time to dismound one, place a satchel and get out of there alive. It would've been rather unlikely that the Demoman would've even gotten to plant the Satchel and get ouf of there. If anything only by doing a suicide run, but that's not the goal of those Missions. But yeah I agree with you on the point they really did well for themselves, better than expected really.

By the way, would probably be a good idea to tell people occupying gunner positions to assign keys for turn turret. That way they can use max traverse speed until the initial rough bearing and fine tune with the mouse. The mouse shuffle alone is deadly... for the wrong people.

Dslyecxi why didn't you pick up your commander at 43:20? He was 10 meters away when you said "driver forward" - and you repeatedly dodged rpg's trying to keep him alive for the three minutes prior to that when he was doing his medal of honor thing while out of stamina. Seems a bit of a waste :)

I was weighing that and delaying our movement for them to catch up. Every time they got closer, I had to pull us back because of increasing threats/RPGs/near misses etc. It eventually came down to whether it was worth it to lose the entire last vehicle to save one person.

Might be that they were locked. A mission builder can spawn vehicles that you can't enter - only loot. If he was a good one, which I'm going to assume he did just that. Also it would go kind of against the nature of the mission when your target is to destroy the vehicles.

It is a game, but it is a team based game that they are playing. When you have someone in a critical role such as a gunner of a vehicle and they are not doing what is most important at the time (killing something that will take your vehicle and 3 players out of the game) it can ruin the fun for everyone involved if things don't get handled quickly and you lose 8 - 9 people within the first 20 minutes of a mission start.
