They didn’t need to draft offensive help because they signed Mooney, Ray-Ray McCloud and traded for Rondale Moore. OLine already top 5 and RB room was complete. If you look at it, they had leverage. To be honest, if the Falcons didn’t sign Cousins, a team would’ve been trying to trade down ahead of the Falcons to draft Penix. They didn’t think we were going QB. It shook the Raiders and the Broncos for sure.
