This game was so tense. I WAs up to 4 am watching the game and that lady drive was something else. My heart was in my throat the entire time. I actually pulled a muscle from celebrating too hard after that OT win. This victory was so cathartic

Truest words today! I knew they’d pivot and make it about themselves instead of giving it up and eating crow. All I heard was “SEC speed” and “our athletes” and “the B10 is trash, Michigan would lose 5 games with Bamas schedule”. But here we are, we dominated them physically all day in the manner I’m sure their fan base thought they’d dominate us. The bad snaps from the Alabama center at the beginning of the third quarter were huge. Alabama was moving the ball well on that drive. The funniest thing was the announcer saying that it WASN"T totally the centers fault. One of those snaps bounced before it reached the QB.

Big win for the Team Up North. Now, its most recent national championship was 1997 and before that in the 1940s? In contrast, Ohio State has won it in 2015 and 2002. Before that, it beat OJ and USC in the late 1960s with the Super Soph Team. But have at it with the petty slights on your day in the sun. How cool, Rich! I was behind one of the end zones at that same Rose Bowl (1990, if I remember correctly). Nothing beats the atmosphere of a college football game. I was also near the USC band. The Trojan fight song has echoed in my memory ever since.

Rich, I hope that the Michigan players remember more clearly than you seem to that we still have one more win to go. I get what you're saying, and how you're feeling, at least to an extent, I'm not an alum but I feel as though I love them as much as one would. And it scares me when people get too excited before the finale, when they start making comments as if the job was complete. I always think of my 2006 Detroit Tigers making the World Series, you would have thought one in the ALCS was winning the World Series by the way the team, the fans, and the media all reacted. Well we proceeded to get swept by the St Louis Cardinals. Just food for thought. LETS GO BLUE!!
