ABOUT QUANTUM LEAP:
It's been nearly 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now, a new team, led by physicist Ben Song (Raymond Lee), has been assembled to restart the project.
Everything changes, however, when Ben makes an unauthorized leap into the past, leaving the team behind to solve the mystery of why he did it. At Ben's side throughout his leaps is Addison (Caitlin Bassett), a decorated Army veteran who appears in the form of a hologram only Ben can see and hear.

It is Ben and Hannah that make the magic on QL. I am a new viewer, but their chemistry is undeniable. Hopefully, there is a third season, and destiny brings them together once more.

I gotta admit, as a fan of the original this one got me hooked especially the finale. I nearly teared up hearing the OG music, the story was awesome and the cast did a massively awesome performance. Well done! We do need a season 3 and the fans are hopeful that Scott Bakula and nbc changes their minds about having him come back. Even if its just for a finale. The target audience wants Sam Beckett to cross paths with Ben! Trust me he fits in.

season 2 finale seemed like an ending, ben and addison finally together in the past and of course hannah was created to bring ben home, her son gideon jeffrey being the bad guy was a surprise, I didn't get it 'till the firefighter episode

This episode had me sus in some ways .. they way hannah reacted and the way she wanted to give the equation to addison right away because despite being trapped ... I have a theory. I think by this time, hannah had already met future version of Addison & Ben leaping together... Somtime after Hannah's husband died, she moved in this appartment & got a Job in DC, she wanted to create a code that would help ben in future to get back home, she would found that her meetings with ben are only finite & would run out at some point and that only way ben gets back to present is someone else takes his place from present who he is tethered with in present... but i guess during that time when she was still working on that code, future version of ben & addison together cross paths with hannah.... they thank her for creating the swap code but although it does actually swap Ben with someone from the present day (ie Addison) it does allow Addison & Ben to be reunited (in past if not in present) & whenever they leap they leap together and leap into persons nearby each other. This makes Hannah realize that she might have changed the code to Tether someone from present who jumps (ie addison) to Ben so they could always stay together wherever they go.. Future versions of addison & ben would have told her that in few years young ben would meet her again at her appartment and that day she will give her final piece of the "swap" code and would have told her not to tell their past selves anything about her meeting with their future selves as this could change the timeline. They would have assured her that despite everything that would happen, her son would grow up to be a ally & successful businessman even if he seems distant right now.... So this is why i think she was shook when she realised ben has finally come , this was the day she would give the code to hologram Addison & this might be the last time (or one of the last time) that she & ben would cross path as when she gives the code to Addison, Ben & addison would get reunited as she had already met their futures selves. It would explain why she tells that she started working on this solution after meeting him so that he could return to his home (his home being addison) but she doesn't tell them what the code actually does because that how things would have to go as their future selves also didnt know what the code did. .. also it explains why she said this might be the last time we see each other because chronologically from her POV she would have already met future ben & addison leaping together and this is the moment she will give the code to ben/Addison one way or another so this might be the last time she might see him . Although in s2 e13 after Ben leaps to few years after the apartment fire, he patches things up with hannah's son so he doesn't grow up to be a hateful businessman resenting his mom & ben for his dad's death.. hannah finally says her goodbye to ben as he literally travelled back to save her relationship with her son who would now not hate her growing up With her life now good & ben with the new code that was the last time hannah would see Ben but for future ben and addison, the last time they would see hannah would be around sometime after she moved into the apartment & before the apartment fire.
