In response to Datto I work at whataburger The only things that cost extra on burgers are Pattys Bacon Cheese Avocado And Jalapeños All of our other veggies Lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles we literally ALL ORDER in Bulk That’s the only way it comes outta the factory so when you take those things off the burger It doesn’t save us money at all While the other things listed up above aren’t bulk and can’t be because of specific issues like cheese and jalapeños and avocado need to be packaged specifically for longer freshness and things Not to mention that all of OUR veggies not sure about other fast food chains is prepped fresh daily We chop our tomatoes and lettuce and onions DAILY wile some things come prepared outta the box for us Like cheese and jalapeños that just need to be kept refrigerated all of ours sauces are the same no extra cost except for the small self serves yall ask for at the window we have to charge you for them because they are packaged differently and that’s costly so we have to charge you only one that isnt charged is basic ketchup Hope I helped🙃
