Pc version is great! I have over 100 hrs and still playing. Although with my farm becoming quite massive I do experience a bad bug now. If I leave food on the cooking station till the next day it just disappears. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but my wife and I both see it happen. Good review of the game and I hope more people pick this up and play it!

I was curious about this one when I saw it announced and saw that it was out on the eShop. It looked cute and chilled out. But the lack of reviews or information made me hesitate on picking it up. It looked up my alley, but I wanted to be sure that it performed well and was at least enjoyable to play. Sadly, hearing that it doesn’t perform well on Switch means I’ll have to wait just a little bit longer until I hear that there are more fixes (or I get a better PC, whichever comes first). @@shadominx3696 there is no question about the amount of content available. And as I said it is wonderful on PC, but the Switch version could have been delayed to avoid all of this. There are game breaking and save/file breaking bugs. The game at this point has been on the NS for 2 months. It's gonna need many more to address it all. Otherwise we can accept that this is how game development will be from now on (pretty much like triple A sometimes do). We release unfinished games, let the gamers pay full price and they test it for us. It's one thing to have a few bugs and another to have that many game breaking ones. In the end, my channel is about giving my community a 100% honest review. A review is based on my experience and then I go around and see what other people have as issues just to make sure it's not my system doing this. 20$ or 60$, people work hard to get their money. I was very clear in my review and I had 10 minutes of saying nothing but wonderful things about the game. But on the NS, it is not doing well at all. I even went now to their Discord and checked the bug reporting and it is filled on an hourly basis with crashes, save data problems, game breaking bugs, inability to complete crucial quests. I have spoken to Daniel before and in my video I clearly state; they are only two people which is amazing (with a third person who handles music). They also have a team of game testers too. And I said I know they have updated it and I know they will keep working on it. Again, at the state it has been, after I pushed my review for almost 2 months, I will not sleep well recommending a community I care about to buy the Switch version with their own hard cash. Once more, I am super happy to see you enjoying the game. Nothing makes me more joyful that people loving a cozy game and having a good time since gaming is our escape. I hope you continute to enjoy it and happy bubbly gaming 🌸

I'm really glad to hear such a glowing review, with any luck they can get everything sorted out on the ns version soon. I'm a little sad to have to keep waiting until there's a better run state for it but definitely better than powering thru the game until I'm like...not that keen to keep playing. Since the serious bugs reported on their discord are definitely rage quit worthy.

Thank you! I am glad that you have seen/read about the bugs that I am talking about. I kept the video super positive since I adore the game and it was one of the very first games I talked about on my earlier lists on the channel. However, seeing the NS port and trying it for myself, it made my motion sickness so bad and I could not play without running into a bug and immersion breaking instances which made me easily say this could have been delayed. It does not mean the game is bad, it just means that a small team of 2-3 people will have difficulty porting such a game to the NS since their budget is small and they cannot hire a professional company. Thus, a delay is the best way! I hope it will get fixed so that you can enjoy a smoother experience like the one we have on PC!🌸

Great review! I'm torn about the Switch release being so buggy. A part of me wants to support the devs by purchasing it now, in the hopes it will encourage them to patch things up quickly.

100%! I just feel like they could have pushed it back a bit, there is obvious high demand on it so they had nothing to lose. But, now I just hope for NS game breaking bugs to be fixed asap (which I feel they will be) 💜

Its a shame the switch version doesn't run well but I agree on the PC this game is amazing! I have had it since April 2019 and I love it so much. They keep pumping out updates for the game to this day. Another one is coming today actually or at least she's hoping to push it out. :) There's so many quests, building, the dungeon and farming and raising animals. It's just a cute game with a ton of things to do. I highly recommend it if you are into these types of games.

100% agree! The PC version is a gem that is being supported for a long time! I got mine during EA so I have been monitoring the game for a long time. Hopefully the NS version will be a bit more decent since there is a massive audience that adores this kind of cozy and cute game ✨

Hey Miss Bubbles! Can I just say… your hair always looks so pretty 🙂 I play Garden Paws on Switch. Yes it has all the faults you mentioned but I don’t really mind. I guess it’s becoming I don’t have the other version of it to compare. 😂 I am totally snowed under by the number of quests though omg 😳 so I turned off the list 😂😂😂 besides Animal Crossing, Garden Paws is probably the game I play most. I like it because honestly it’s just easy fetch quests, I usually play at night and I’m already tired by then. It’s just relaxing to run around collecting things. I don’t even bother going to bed at night because there’s no negative consequence 😂 so i just go round doing my stuff till my poor little rainbow skin penguin falls asleep on the job lolll

It surely is a game with sooo many features and I did not even get to mention the dungeon/fighting aspect cause the video already ran too long! I adore it so much but know that the current way it is running on Switch could be fixed if it got delayed a bit. Yup switch version definitely has a few issues. However for myself 130 hours in it's been nothing game breaking. I have read about save issues and many other quirks and problems. I would say well worth jumping in on switch but just be prepared for a few issues. Such a great game that fits the switch perfectly and it will get better as the Devs have a real love for their game. This will be known as a real hidden gem that has slipped under the radar.

As someone that has played both the PC version and the switch version i can honestly say in my opinion that the game didn't translate to the switch well. I have both and still choose to play the PC version over the switch version. I do love this game its one of my favorites and watching this video makes me want to play it again, but i do beed to uninstall it and reinstall it cause my PC game did get a bug with one of the new updates and had been pretty broken since so i stopped playing it for awhile. Im excited to get back into it.

I have it in the NS, absolutely adore it, however yes their are still many bugs and sometimes lagging issues. I havnt tried the river map tho 😅 My main interest is, on PC I hear you can get the DLC for human, and also get dragons, is this also possible for NS??? Thanks in advance, I appreciate your time 😊

I am not sure if we can get the Human DLC on the NS since I stopped following the game's updates at this point. However, the dragon should be part of the customization and available from the start if I am not mistaken!

Should just release on consoles that can handle it honestly like PlayStation or Xbox. I really want to play this game but I can’t relax on my PC. I associate it with work. Knowing the Switch version is buggy is very disappointing.

I feel the same about my PC so I need time to disconnect it from being my work area to becoming my gaming area hehe. I think the problem is not optimizing the game well. The switch can definitely handle it. It's just poorly optimized (I would assume cause Bitten Toast is a much smaller company so maybe they couldn't afford someone helping them like Life Is Strange: True Colors did.)

I have this game on both my laptop and Nintendo Switch. While the Steam version is better, playing on the go also feels like why the developers chose the Switch over PlayStation and XBox. To be honest though there are more things to do on the PC version.

Of course, there is more content and also access to mods on PC and that is okay. What I am not okay with is how poorly the condition of the Switch version was released and people rushed to buy it at the state it was and still is. This deserves every penny, BUT needs to be fixed on NS first. Otherwise, Steam version all the way.

@@MissBubbles I agree about some of the statements but an Indie developer does not have the back up like bigger industries, I am more supportive of the Steam and the Switch versions because this game does not get as much reviews or game play as other Indie titles like Stardew Valley. Like I said if this game ran better that would be better but at least they are working on the issues, can not say that for some other games out there, Switch or not.

@@brittanymichelle6516 it's honestly a night and day difference on PC. Check the system requirements and you should be good to go, they have come a long way with optimization and it's so beautiful there
