It won't unlock, REAR HATCH Honda ELEMENT!

The FIX if your REAR HATCH LOCK wont unlock to close. Put key in rear lock hole, turn key counterclockwise, walk back to your driver's side unlock button, press once and walk back to hatch. Lift and drop, lock your car as usual...specially if you dont want some wild stranger rummaging around your E.

Thanks for commenting...what button? Cuz for 15 mins the door lock button wouldn't work until I'd did the key in back first. This is a key only vehicle. No alarm or lock fob.

@@patrickdonegan9559 with regards to that. My E came with fob lock and remote plus cut off chip. I did not want all that at time so dealer traded out keys for no remote and kept cut off chip in plain key. So, dealer could turn back on if I asked. Maybe yours could also? (plus remote fee)
