He is supposed to be a spy for Konhoha yet no one has any idea in Konoha about Akatsuki's abilities. 2. he wants to protect his brother yet never checks up on him even when he knows Orochimaru is actually looking for naive Uchihas to take over their body. 3. His great triumph against Kabuto came only because Kishimoto introduced a Deus ex machina Izanami. 4. He could have easily killed Akatsuki members since he is a master assassin and all but helps them collect tailed beasts for some reason. 5. Itachi is not losing to Might Guy. I love Itachi, I understand he’s far from the strongest, but he’s not losing to Guy. Of course he would lose if Guy went 6th gate plus, but it’s not in character for guy to jump right to the 6th gate. Itachi can use genjutsu that don’t require eye contact, and the Mangekyo definitely doesn’t require eye contact. Guy doesn’t lose cause he’s not strong enough, he loses cause he gets genjutsu finessed.
