As someone with little access to good chess resources, this channel is an absolute godsend. Thanks so much for the hard work and steady stream of content!

That's great! Do you follow only the opening series or do you also follow other topics like the series on visualization? Thanks for recommending the chessfactor channel, that's very much appreciated.

@@Chessfactor I actually first watched the entire series on visualisation and then I went onto the opening videos after I found them really useful too. They were exactly what I was looking for!

And why at 15:04 White wants to hurrily castle instead of taking on b4 immediately, hoping that this way the early active rook will be able to achieve something? (Not sure though, just a feeling)

I think at 7:32 that could be worth saying that after Ke7 if White goes on with Ba3+ then the black Queen is lost for real!

you didnt cover any lines if the opponent originally captured the pawn on B4 with the knight instead of A6 or A5, and my opponent played that in a game. I had no idea what to do so I played Ba3 and just went for a fried liver-style attack and my opponent blundered the knight and resigned. I got lucky my opponent didn't know what he was doing and I wish I could have seen a Nxb4 line.

He covered it in the Accepted Variation Video. Basically you attack the center with c3 d4, and then castle like if the Bishop were to capture, then go to c5. It's definitely not a disaster, but black can definitely play better. In general, when playing the Evans, Simon Williams steps hold for pretty much every Evans Gambit game I've played: 1. Attack the center (c3 d4) 2. Castle. 3. Attack f7 or h7

Is there a line for if when black captures the white knight with pawn on d4 rather than with the bishop?
