I think Zanni did the right thing to walk away from Tim's badgering. He should tactfully phrase questions and counter arguments rather than jump all over him for expressing a view that goes against the accepted Western narrative on Ukraine. One has to be completely blind and ignorant to realize that NATO pushed Russia by inviting Ukraine to join NATO, when said that it was unacceptable. Russia is building basis in Mexico and placing nukes there to threaten the US. NATO was doing it to have a first nuclear strike capability.

It is no secret that mr. Zanni's one and only leading topic is his passionate hatred for the EU and the EURO; he is a brilliant expert on equity and bond markets, but his general economic beliefs are borrowed from dubious theories like those of the obscure Argentinian economist Frenkel. He left the 5Stars' party to join Salvini's Lega only because at one point in time the foggy minded 5Stars had applied to join the liberals in EU Parliament.
