Fascinating subject . Thank You Giacomo . I`m wondering if 'Sprezzatura' is "in the mind of the beholder". like Beauty or Charisma or Charm . we cannot see it in ourselves ( especially when we try , or look for it } but occasionally find it in others , unaware of this seemingly Magic Power . I believe it is somehow linked to Love . it is 'The High Art of being Human` .

You got it right! We rarely see it consciously. We rather experience it, sometimes I would say we actually feel it and that’s why I guess it’s also hard to put it down with words ;)

great video. agree on pitti uomo. suddenly now people associate sprezzatura with pocket square, ties , socks and colorful suits.

Pitti is a great chance in terms of visibility for many brands that otherwise wouldn’t make it in the industry. But…for too many guests is just a carnival and this ruins a bit the perception of what comes out from Pitti. You know, at the end of the day not only the food you offer, but also the type of guests you have at your table, contributes to the idea that people have of you

It's interesting that you mention Beau Brummell as I've tried to imitate the nonchalance of the English upper class & failing miserably ( siempre hay esperanza).

Yes, I pity those at Pitti; their clothes-horsemanship is affectation rather than style. Sprezzatura is an artful language which announces elegance with eloquence.

ihopetowin, “I pity those at Pitti” it’s simply AMAZING 😂 luckily at Pitti Uomo we can find also real masters of elegance; it’s harder to notice them because the scene is often stolen by the ones you rightfully pity 😉
