I always enjoy how (relatively) loosely you paint and agree with your comment linking a loose versus tight style to individual personalities. For quite awhile I tended to paint in a very tight fashion and have now consciously tried to loosen my brush strokes after watching your videos. I am extremely pleased with the results. Thank you. I also have to say that this is one of my favourite paintings you have done and since I find all of them to be absolutely beautiful, this one really strikes me. You are an amazing talent.

Just stunning, excellent painting. Two paintings in one. To me, this was the courtyard of a villa. I really enjoy how in your videos you'll head in one direction, then completely decide to change your mind for one reason or another, and this video is no exception. It's really helpful to show your viewers that changing your mind is okay. In this case, though, you painted the bricks in one manner, decided that was wrong (too obvious), and explained you would repaint them in a different manner by the end, which is visible in the end result. Instead of painting in brick by brick, you painted the negative space, the cement or mortar between the bricks. The result is superior. The flowers give off the much needed sparkle and color. Such nice work!
