Hi Paul- I had walked some of the way on the Camino de Santiago in Spain, and did a sketch of a village in the distance from one of my photos. But I had no idea how to really paint it, until I saw this Italian Village tutorial. My 12 yr old grandson and I have just begun to paint together. Since the kids aren't attending class at school, but are doing distance learning at home, we have several afternoons each week that we paint. This was my first Paul Clark watercolor painting and I loved having an hour time cut-off. I'm very new to watercolor and I learned a few things here for sure. One of which is that all watercolor papers are not created equal! I just opened a new pad of paper and it's really terrible-you get what you pay for! I should have known. I will be going to the store and paying the extra $ for something quality like I should have in the beginning. I look forward to my next tutorial! Thank you so much.
