@italianproperty - first of all Nick, my humblest apologies for not having enjoyed this property tour when it was posted. I've been crazy busy - not least last weekend when I had intended to watch it. We had rather a lot of rainfall here in Esbjerg where I live. We got close to 150mm in just under 18hrs... My sons townhouse had water in the kitchen, living- and dining rooms. He was lucky it was just 3/4"... Some of his neighbours had 4". Needless to say, dad came when called upon to help😊 Right! As for thus spectacular property... I absolutely love it! I love the stonework...love the restoration the vendors had done - you can tell they did it properly....it still looks great. I love the views, the solitude, the stonework, the pool and that annex with the covered patio and barby 😊👍 Well, you know me by now... I'd rather have another acre than 1 less, but 1ha could work (unless additional land could be had 😉), and for the price with all the furniture... It's a bargain! 👌 Hope you have enjoyed your time off! Nanette and I wish you and the family (pets included of course!) all the best as we awsit what treats you have in store for us... This is gorgeous, and has everything yoi could dream of, without rediculous expenses and maintenance, and full time cleaning. (or loads of hired help required). Really luxurious in a reasonable size. And a price regular people might afford. The views, the well, the pool and extra possible transformation of that annex is just added luxury to a truly charming house. Perfect. ❤

oh this is a real charmer, this place!!! :) it's so nicely done - all throughout, and no doubt, one could be very comfortable in this home! it has a wonderful inviting look and feel to it :) inside and outside. the exterior is just fantastic in it's simple lines. like it just belongs there! as lovely as that is though, it's that epic view that takes it to another level of wonderful!!! beautiful and then some! the annex has a "sitting on top of the world" feeling to it to make one feel quite detached from the rest of the world!! private and retreating -- just what somebody would want to feel and enjoy italy surrounding them in this special setting :) :) great tour as always, nick! this lovely property pushes all the right buttons!!!!

Awesome property. What a views !!!! Probably this house come from 16th and 17th century. Yes, could be a tower, but a barn too, during the time some buildings could change the porpouse. The "humidity" is water entering from the outside. Paint will only cover it up for a short time. Take the plaster off and I'm sure you will find mold behind it and rotten wood .You have to stop the water from entering the house to solve the "humidity issue."

Hello Nick, Oh wowee, I love the authentic floor and ceiling and that wall . . . so thick!!! I love the stove inside the giant fireplace too! Love the view! Vented floor? Not sure what that is! Okay! Lots of cupboards! Great utility room! Oh my Goodness, I love that door - look at the patina! Gorgeous! Oh I love the roof beams and tiles and on a slant giving full room height and plus more! Wonderful bedrooms! Yes it is interesting with all the little windows - I think you are right about the use of this home being for an alternative purpose like a watch tower! But, these little windows really add to the quirkiness and originality of the home! Oh yes, GREEN GRASS ALL YEAR AROUND!!! How wonderful! Love the barbeque and garage and OMGoodness look at that swimming pool! I am seeing trees as well as grass and this reminds me of Aldergrove where my Grandfather had his farm! So beautiful! I would absolutely enclose the bbq area into a private retreat. It’s too far/an awkward walk from the kitchen. Theres lots of unused flat space right next to the kitchen that would make a fabulous new site for bbq’ing and covered outdoor dining as the “dining room” is better used for something else. It would also make the kitchen feel much larger. The house overall is beautifully presented and good value for $ especially being completely fenced. 😊

Unfortunately us Canadians are no linger able to buy in Italy because of this extended reciprocity law. No loopholes. 😔 We plan on moving to Italy next year and we will now have to rely on long-term leasing. Want to start a sister channel Nick ?! 😊
