Trading is certainly the smart thing to do, but nothing beats the feeling of slamming a good base piece of gear, watching it roll garbage, desperately trying to fix it with chaos orb, rerolling the good mod, then disenchanting it.

Has GGG ever hinted at putting an "auction house" of sorts into the game? This whole process is a pain in the ass, and if you want to succeed at later levels - this process is unavoidable. I think it's a major barrier to fun, and I don't get why they would do it this way. At the very least, allow trades to happen while players are offline for items that are priced as "non-negotiable". EDIT: but THANK YOU for making the video :) it's very helpful.

I completly agree, you should not need to go on a external website, and then there is the possibility of human error or the person being offline.

I would think they're looking at it since it's such an integral part of the game and making this a console offering is a big focus but I honestly don't have any concrete info man I'm so sorry

Yea I play on Xbox and I can’t even do it but poe1 has an in game trade house like that for console so hopefully they will add it

If you are the buyer, do not invite. The guy can be in maps and you'll just annoy them or maybe even kill from some popup and they wont sell you.

I don't mind people trading, but it kind of sucks when it feels like the only way to actually get good gear at this point. I hope this changes in the future as someone who does mostly SSF.

SSF should definitely have more buffs to drops and maybe a buff to rng to account for those of us who simply get our gear by trading

Trading has always been the quickest way to gear up in mostly all arpgs since diablo 1.

@@devonbair2357 I've never traded in any of those games, and never had this big of a problem finding good gear. This game on the other hand might be the worst gear progression experience I've had. I can count on 1 hand...missing 2 fingers how many times I've got pumped for a loot drop in the 60+ hours I've played so far...

@@DarkPassenger It's like that as well playing ssf in any arpg. It's always harder and considered a challenge. The loot drops were rather bad at the beginning, I admit, but since the patch it has been great! You pretty much have a good chance of getting a rare from any rare mob now and all unique/act bosses literally drop every time now. It might not be something you need or want, but that's why these games require farming. Especially for a ssf. I also don't believe you played 60+ hours and didn't get one single thing that helped your build. Even when the loot dropping was bad.

They should just do something like they do in the division ..you can extract a talent from a weapon or gear and move it over to what you want to use..and use the exalted orbs to do it ..something like that

Quick trading etiquette note: if you are buying an item, you travel to them. Click the blue swirly on their name once THEY invite you to party after you whisper them. The experience is more smoothe when you honor the guidelines of the community. Or just spam whisper and party invites, fuck em.

I don't get it. If they went so far that you can create "public" tab and list your items on the web page, why the actual selling process is still manual (inv, trade, accept trade etc). Why it is not automatic like an Auction in WoW or something.

And it is not clear how prices on this website vary from 2-4 transmutation or augmentation orbs to exalted orb for similar items when their exchange rate is 160 to one

@@ThePushnoi it is, they are basically worthless after level 30+ unless you want to spend lots of higher orbs playing around with them to get perfects, its not good until late game by which time they are just everywhere

I hear you, it's very different than other games. I think most people could live with relying on multiple source of in-game economy, but it's the "3rd party" element that makes it a deal breaker for many. We've been programmed to accept in-game auction houses and selling in "trade chat". We are not accustomed to tabbing out of the game, going to a website, doing some search, determining who has posted recently, messaging them in-game, hopefully getting invited to their hideout, hopefully making the trade, and having the currency to pull it off. GGG needs to put an auction house in the game - it's that simple.

My stash tab does not look like yours. I can only select what type of items can be put inside, the part under Affinities, everything above that I do not have.

You have to get a premium stash tab, you can upgrade one of your 4 to it for15 gold. It’s not expensive and to really only need 1. Unless you’re farm selling.

Fun Fact: You need 1 character to be at least level 25 before you can sell anything. I was wondering why I wasn't able to set my tab to "Public". I'm level 22, so I'm getting close. I don't think anyone would want to buy my items, but you never know. So many things to learn about this game.

It works for me, you gotta click on the bottom right playstation icon on the login screen and login with your psn account and password. It will log you out in 20 minutes or so if you have browser closed but it will auto login again without needing password ever again as you press the playstation icon.

Weapons have to have damage, otherwise they're worth almost nothing. There are exceptions with +# to all skills for some builds.
