Omg I just sprayed my Italica decant for the first time and it is so freaking sweet and nutty like a sweet ice cream flavor. I have a very sweet tooth and love gourmands but this is way too sweet for me, almost headache inducing.

If you like kiiiiinda sweet, but not overtly/ overwhelmingly sweet, try Lafayette St. by Bond No. 9. I guess I’d have to say it’s one of my top 3-5 since I want to wear it daily but have to talk myself out of it, give the others a chance, lol.

Yessss Lafayette street by bond no. 9 is my favorite scent from the line, I remember wearing it one day and a couple that was behind me stopped me to ask what I was wearing and asked me to show them what it was so they can take a picture and purchase it then they saw the price tag and was like damnnnn u must be rich, I love compliments like that and Lafayette street definitely does it for me!!

I really want to smell this one, but I also don’t want to spend a ton of money if I love it lol I am guilty of loving the sweet fragrances but more so in the fall. By the time winter comes around, I’m already over the sweet and lean more towards the smoky, woody, incense kind of fragrances.

To me this smells of freshly baked almond cookies. Kinda bitter and very very sweet. Some may like it. Not for me though

Ugh. I love gourmands and want to love this one so bad, BUT I’m afraid I must be noseblind to this fragrance! I do not get the “strong, nuclear” performance that others have described. I basically smell nothing. I even just gave my wrist a good spray just before bed and I got a VERY FAINT “almondy” smell for about five minutes, and then NOTHING. I’m like burying my nose into my wrist where I sprayed it, and I get NOTHING. I rarely go “noseblind” to anything. So disappointing!
