Could be considered bias but as a dodgers fan I never liked Machado even when we traded for him. I can't stand guys who are paid millions and don't hustle. It's literally your job. You are paid to play a children's game that we all enjoy watching, and you're not gonna give it your best effort? Look at mookie beating out that ground ball in game 5 of the WS. Would Machdo in a million years ever beat that out? No. He doesnt wanna look corny trying too hard 💀 Gtfo

If the Padres actually had a mature leader they could’ve won the series against the Dodgers, and this is coming from a Dodger fan, they’re so immature and that probably cost them this years WS. Next year with the dodgers injured players coming back they probably won’t have the same chances to succeed against them like they had this year.
@jdsthirdАй бұрын
Manny the leader led his team to go up 2-1 with a chance to close out the NLDS at home at Petco Park. This was after all the hoopla and showboating they did in game 2. He led them to 24 consecutive scoreless innings and a choke job that set a 33 year record in the playoffs. Mature indeed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, yes, and YES. I agree with you and appreciate your honest evaluation over time. Your evaluation is "spot on". As a Padres fan, I know who he was and is now. It's always to see growth instead of immature continuation and PS helped in that. He's learned to be a leader which means more than focusing on himself. He has an arrogant past but players can change. Don't judge without thinking about the current actions.

As an avid baseball fan, I hate watching guys showboat. Tatis stutter stepping around third after his home run in NLDS game 2 9th inning giving the Padres 9 run advantage probably pissed off and fired up the Dodgers. Just as I hate the end zone celebration, slam dunk in NBA, why can't these guys act like they've done this before. A celebration is one thing. But showboating is just juvenile. Especially when their team ends up losing the game.
@jst1nАй бұрын
you just described a really normal home run trot, i don't think theres ever been a tatis home run without the stutter step at third and that is definitely not showboating
@ronnieortiz680316 күн бұрын
Funny how you want to portray "Manchado" as somehow becoming more mature and a leader is SD when he literally cheated in the NLDS by stepping out of the basebath on that grounder to Freddie Freeman. Baseball is a humbling sport and actually REWARDS those who play it right. Freeman got 2 rings now and is immortalized in world series history. "Manchado" will be remembered for 24 straight scoreless innings
