This dodger team is so special dude everyone did a part and bringing a championship to LA it felt so good after 10 years of choking in the playoffs and u can use the buying championships argument all u want but this was our year 😭🙏

I don't even care he gave up the grand slam to Volpe, the Dodgers absolutely needed him. Without Hudson, Dodgers do not make the World Series
@SuperCatacata2 күн бұрын
Props to Volpe on the slam, but anyone who watched Hudson at any point early in the year could tell something was up. The guy spent close to a month resting at the end of 2024 and looked dead all post season. Turns out he literally was running on fumes and about to blow his arm out again.

He ATE innings. Thats all you could’ve asked for from the ‘pen in the postseason.

I think this is what made us successful. We have so many "I don't care they did __, we wouldn't have made it without him" kind of people. Most people had their bads but their highs always broke the ceiling.

The one thing all sport stars have in spades is heart. Hudson has more heart than a lot of other players. He did an outstanding job for us (Dodgers) when we needed him the most. Thank you Mr. Daniel Hudson.

The Dodgers bullpen which was a question mark at best before the playoffs were super clutch in the playoffs. They most shut down arguably the best and healthiest team in the playoffs (the Padres), the hottest team in the playoffs (the Mets), and the most loaded with talent (the Yankees). They probably get swept by the Padres if it weren’t for them.

I knew Hudson was on his last legs going into the final 3 months of the season but people kept throwing out his low ERA to say nothing was wrong. Thankfully, he didn't have to pitch in game 5. Buehler used 3 knuckle curves to get 3 outs in the 9th inning of game 5 of the World Series. He also used a knuckle curve to get Lindor out in game 3 of the NLCS with the bases loaded. What a pitch for him.

As a Nats fan I am a bit disappointed that you didn't mention that in 2019 he had to miss some of the playoffs for the birth of his daughter and was still available to pitch immediately after that. I will always love Hudson for his heroics on and off the field in the 2019 post season and am glad he is getting the recognition he deserves.
