I always thought this brand is underrated or perhaps introduced at the wrong time. it doesn't get the respect i feel it deserves. My favorite is the Chimera model

I love U-Boat watches. Their built quality are superb and materials used in their watch case construction are solid and detailed! Not to mention they match it with ultra comfortable high quality hand made leather straps! I have lots of U-Boat in my collection and I love all of them. I don’t care what other peoples might think or say because U-Boat watches are not everyone’s cup of tea. So you love it or hate it. Each to his own. I also noticed they just keeps on improving with their watch build from time to time (example: older models didn’t use sapphire glass to their see-thru caseback but their current models uses sapphire glass to their see-thru caseback already) , they also uses high quality thick sapphire glass for their front glass crystal and also uses special materials like tungsten for their bezel. Most of their dials looks good also. They also uses nice quality rotors in their movement and also uses the quick release (movelock) on some of their current lineups. You pull the crown easily by just pushing a button to release and pop the crown to let you adjust the date and time. Uniquely Designed and Great craftmanship!

My 2 main watches are the U-Boat Classico 45 (beige face) and a blue 2021 Longines Hydroconquest ceramic bezel 43mm. Both different and excellent.
